Value Inn East Stroudsburg

It was really clean property, room was warm and comfy, hot water was available, parking available in front of the room, not smell like said in the reviews; clean sheets, comfy beds and pillows. Nice area, will stay again.

The check in was by a phone in-front of office door outside and was extremely cold that night so the person was giving instructions through that phone and watching us through a camera, finally we enter to the office but I have to pick up another phone to continue with the instructions for checking, then he called to my cell phone continued with instructions in front of the room door to give me a code so I can get the key to enter to the room, he keep watching me through a camera , he was nice and polite but never was seen in person. That was my first time going through this experience in a hotel, I felt weird but the stay was worth it.

The Staff was friendly. The room was so dated and the headboard had so much dust you could tell it had not been cleaned in years. There was an electrical extension screwed on to the nightstand. The carpet on the floor was old and worn. And when i put my hairbrush on the bathroom shelf, the whole shelf fell off the wall.

The room was clean.

The room was dire. Dingy, exposed rotting wood, peeling wallpaper that was put over what likely should have been demolished. It was semi-clean. But when you lift up the bed and it looks like someone had been murdered there; along with the horrendous smell of the room. I cannot recommend anyone stay here under any circumstances. I got my sleeping bag from my car and slept on the comforter. I put my bag of clothes back in my car because I was worried about the smell.. I kept my backpack in the room and that still stinks. It's not worth saving $30 to stay here. Learned a valuable lesson.

Mildew... overwhelming amount of Mildew smell, water damage in furniture and yes, mildew. That bed... brick ! Breakfast, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Bagels don't hope for coffee creamer.

It was horrible soon as you walked in it smelled like freaking mold,tried sleeping with my shirt over my nose, hurt my chest, couldn't wait to get out, not sure who are the Authoritys in this area to take care of this situation ,will never stay or recommend
