Hampton Inn Springfield South Enfield

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, and all of the staff are very friendly and accommodating to all guests. We were given room 510, a room with two queen beds. The room is a bit outdated in it's furniture design, but they did update the beds, and the interior corridors, but regardless the room was very clean and very comfortable. They will clean your room everyday, so long as you don't have the do not disturb sign on the door, but even if you miss a cleaning you can get all that you need from the front desk, including after hours if needed. All of the staff at this hotel went above and beyond for all guests, they smiled and greeted guests and were very approachable and eager to help any guest in need of anything to help make their stay comfortable, they did that for us, and I witnessed them do that for anyone staying with them during our stay, they truly care about their guests and also are very caring to keep a clean, comfortable, and safe environment. The Hotel has a nice size indoor pool that is open all year round because it is indoors, and they have a fitness center, and a small guest laundry room, and a few other nice amenities offered on the premises, and two clean nice well working elevators without having a long wait for them. The hotel is extremely conveniently located to an outdoor mall of many good stores and also a supermarket and plenty of restaurants that are walking distance, they have a shared close to their parking lot the Long Horn Steakhouse Restaurant, which is certainly right there practically on the property of the hotel, but it is not the hotel's restaurant. Our Room has a mini refrigerator, and if you need a microwave all you need to do is ask the front desk for one and they will bring one to your room free of charge, and that is exactly what they did for us. The room has a small closet with an iron and board, and there is a full length mirror in the room. The Bathroom had a nice big counter top and plenty of space underneath to store your personal toiletries. Everyday we had good water pressure and plenty of good hot water. The Room has a big desk space and a few nice size dresser drawers. No USB ports, but they have good enough electrical outlets available around the room, and there is plenty of good lighting in the room. The beds and pillows were all comfortable and our room was very clean. The complimentary breakfast each day was always well stocked with fresh tasty products, and well set up, and they actually had very fresh whole fruit of bananas and oranges and apples each day. The layout of the room was convenient and flowed around well for guests at each food station. We would absolutely recommend this Hotel, although not the most of modern decoration but it is the cleanest and friendliest and comfortable and homey kind of stay that is necessary to have a great convenient stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved that it had a wrapping station to wrap your presents. Pet friendly is a plus. The breakfast was one of the best ones that I ever had in a hotel. They had a large variety of hot and cold foods. It was delicious. They were very nice about closing as well. They went around and asked if we were finished and if we wanted anything else before they closed. Clean and lots to do nearby. It was a great location for what I needed as well.

The only thing that I didn't like was the TV. It kept turning off while I was watching it and it was very confusing trying to get a channel on. It also took a few tries with the button to get it to work. Not sure if it was a battery issue or something else.

My family and I visit this hotel annually for our fall getaway. There is a group of us so we book 2-3 rooms. The staff, amenities, rooms and breakfast were all great! The rooms are clean, the pool and hot tub area is nice and the breakfast was hot and fresh. This particular stay included a mishap that Sharon at the front desk took care of for us. We had booked a certain type of room but at check in were told that the king suite wasn’t available and we had to stay in a room with 2 queen beds instead because that’s all they had. I explained to Sharon that the reason we book at least one of the rooms as a suite is so we can all spend time together in one of our rooms. She offered us one of the conference rooms at night to hang out in and allowed us to bring food/beverage in there as well. She also called her manager Kirk, to see if he could do anything to help. She unfortunately couldn’t get us into the room that we booked but they did end up giving us a large discount on our stay. I feel like the staff handled this situation the best they could and we will certainly continue to choose this hotel for our annual trip!
