Breakfast choice was very good,staff very attentive,

Bacon on hot plate not well cooked and generally cold,scambled egg a little rubbery and cold

Reception is nice and modern, front garden is stunning.

Dismissive and slightly arrogant atmosphere from reception staff, breakfast OK but asked to take mine outside in the adjacent garden but told this was not possible, asked for fresh scrambled eggs and was given the mass made congealed mass catering eggs that where already available at the buffet bar. Eye rolling from breakfast staff as if I was an inconvenience. Room was basic, mattresses a kin to a travelogue, room could have been cleaner and full of mosquitoes with the walls smattered in the previous guests attempts at insect genocide. I feel for the money you shout out for this iconic hotel, it trades on reputation only and delivers for a little in relation to service and comfort.

Location was amazing, on the lake and walking distance to the centre for shops and restaurants. We were fortunate to have a lake side view with a nice veranda which made enjoying the lake and sensational views magic. The hotel team were tremendous in from helping park our car to serving a tremendous breakfast.
