Hotel Piroscafo

Der Hauskaffee war sehr sehr schlecht... Aber wir konnten auch anderen Kaffe aus der Maschine bestellen... der war O.K. Sonst war das Frühstück in Ordnung...

Sonst war alles sehr schön... Wir waren schon oft in Desenzano... Das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt... aber trotzdem leise... man muss kein Auto nehmen... denn man viele Spaziergänge machen... Außer man will die anderen hübschen Orte besuchen... Diese kann man auch ganz wunderbar mit den Schiffen erreichen... Vielleicht sollte man noch den Lift erwähnen... Sehr eng... kein Spiegel drinnen, denn dann würde es optisch etwas größer... Und man sollte die Leute gleich aufmerksam machen, daß der Lift etwas Zeit braucht... bis er sich vor dem Aussteigen öffnet... Sonst bekommt man einen Schweißausbruch... denn man denkt... die Türe öffnet sich nicht... Personal... Es sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit...

The location was excellent and the staff were friendly.

The room was very small and had no view which was not what we expected based on the pictures on Booking.

We've just spent a week at this beautiful hotel 16th to 23rd May. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Superb shower. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We had emailed the hotel beforehand and upgraded to a balcony room and this didn't disappoint. We had room 15 on the 3rd floor and the views were stunning. Some might think the rooms are small but they have everything you need. Bed and pillows super comfy! Overlooking the old harbour you could observe the hustle and bustle and watch the world go by. It was never noisy even though our room was at the front. Plenty of restaurants and cafes, all reasonably priced. We caught the ferry on three days to Lazise, Bardolino and Sirmione. Ferry port is just a 5 minute stroll from this fabulous hotel. If you are thinking of staying in Desenzano then this is the hotel to book!

Frábærlega staðsett hótel í Desenzano, labbar í ca 10 mín frá lestarstöðinni niður í miðbæinn þar sem hótelið er staðsett. Hótelið er staðsett við litla smábátahöfn og vöknuðum við með útsýnið yfir höfnina sem var dásamlegt. Herbergin eru komin til ára sinna en þrif voru til fyrirmyndar sem bætti upplifunina. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli sem vilja rólegheit á kvöldin en mikla nálægð við líf á kvöldin, þar sem allt er krögt af veitingastöðum í kring. Einnig tekur ca 2 mín frá hótelinu að labba til hafnarinnar þar sem ferjuþjónustan til annarra áfangastaða Garda er í boði.

Eins og ég nefndi þá eru herbergin komin til ára sinna, og var t.d. sturtuklefin mjög lítill.
