Hotel Villa Del Sogno

We stayed at Hotel Villa del Sogno for two nights. Frankly speaking, it's not worth the price by its hardware and software. Hardware part: the building is old, the rooms lack of any modern amenities with used up furniture, aged room deco, old bedding materials, no coffee machine and small bathroom. There are only a handful guests for breakfast, and the breakfast was not good, lack of variety and the supposedly hot food was rather cold instead. The five star is clearly over-rated. Will no visit again and will not recommend.

Villa Del Sogno offered the most spectacular views across lake garda it was like a Mediterranean paradise. I booked a junior suite as i wanted the terrace to wake up and have my tea on in the morning. The staff were really friendly. Our room was ready early but the lovely gentleman who showed us to our room noticed it wasn't quite ready and was very apologetic but it was fine with us and he immediately got on the phone to get it sorted. We decided to have a drink on the terrace while we waited and it was lovely. When the room was ready it was lovely and the balcony was massive. The only down side is there were no Tea or Coffee making facilities and i called in the morning and wasn't able to get any room service until staff arrived at 7. To be honest for the price i paid i would have at least expected that as a standard service. Aside from that it was wonderful and the staff in the morning wished me a happy birthday and the waiters and waitress bought out a tiramisu with a candle. It made for a wonderful start to the day. I would definitely return

We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was just perfect. It’s a gorgeous, classy hotel set high up on the road so the sea views are incredible. It’s better value for money than the hotels across the road on the waterfront but you feel like you’re there anyway. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I didn’t feel well when we arrived and they asked how I was feeling every day. Breakfast was delicious and we ate in the bar a couple of nights too (we didn’t try the main restaurant). Food was great and 5 star service to match. It was a quiet time of year so not many people around but that didn’t bother us. We had a room with a terrace which was lovely. We slept well and the beds were really comfortable. Grazia on reception was exceptional with her local knowledge and help. I left a ring at the hotel by accident and they found it and returned it to me with much care and consideration. We shall definitely return in future years (a big anniversary perhaps) and I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.

What’s not to like about this property?! It’s magical

Stayed here recently and cannot fault it. Puts most hotels I've stayed in at home in the UK to shame. The service, the staff, the room, the view from the terrace and the dining: all perfect. We were originally meant to stay in June, but due to family reasons had to reschedule to October. Grazia was very helpful in rearranging the booking for us. Thanks!

Incredible location grounds and views. Staff were top notch. Restaurant food and service was outstanding. Excellent breakfast. Dinner excellent. Ample parking.

Absolutely nothing. Best property that we have stayed in Italy.
