Great hotel in a great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Perfect and very affordable location for a walking tour of the sights of Sirmione. Our room was super clean and comfortable and had a balcony with double lake views east and west. The room was ultra modern with a swipe pass card for entry and must be inserted into a slot in room to maintain certain electrical functions. To conserve energy those functions cease when you withdraw card as you leave room. The staff was wonderful, friendly, spoke English well and went out of their way to provide an extra early breakfast as we had a rental car due to be returned in Verona. The location was luxurious and reminded us of St. Armands, Sarasota FL, complete with gardens and palm trees. Great value for the location and I would definitely recommend to friends and would gladly stay there again.

Looks OK for one night stay, but for long vacation the room looks small. Breakfast is standard for hotels in Italy - so-so, nothing unusual. The outdoor pool was not tested - weather...

If you're looking for a place to sleep then Suisse fits the bill - it's basic but you get what you need and to a pretty good standard. The hotel's in a decent location, the wifi is excellent, breakfast is OK - there's limited choice but did the job, pool looks good but is next to a main road and the sunbeds are brutally uncomfortable, there's ample parking, a great view of the lake, staff are knowledgeable, and it's less than 5 minutes by car to the shops. If you want to spend time in the hotel and to to relax by the pool this probably isn't the place for you. If we were passing through we'd not hesitate to stop here again though.

After many hours of non stop flying then taking the train from Milan, we received a warm welcome at Hotel Suisse from the reception staff. The room was comfortable with a small fridge. There were some lovely inexpensive restaurants only a short walk away. Breakfast was exceptional, and gluten free additions not a problem. Although situated close to the 'main road' traffic noise was not a problem. And we were there for the may day holiday weekend which was a busy time.

Nice hotel in a great location close to the main town if Sirmione (beautiful little town and scenery around it). The hotel itself seems a bit 'old-fashioned' but I guess this is the Italian style in general. We had a ground floor room, which was a bit noisy in the morning (so try to get another room if you can), but otherwise it was fine: spacey, clean, bed was comfortable, etc. Best part about the hotel is that you have parking spots in front of the hotel and can walk to town from there in about 15min, so you can avoid the traffic chaos into Sirmione itself which had queues already in May so I don't even want to imagine the summer. Only real downside was that the breakfast was a bit disappointing, with probably some of the worst scrambled eggs I have had in my many years of traveling. So overall a decent hotel, and considering the low price we paid certainly good enough for one night in Sirmione.
