Hotel Marconi

Nella meravigliosa Sirmione dove purtroppo tutto è diventato troppo turistico , questo Hotel rimane un’eccezione. Il personale del hotel si distingue per la gentilezza, ospitalità e sentirsi i benvenuti. Hotel curato nei minimi dettagli, colazione fantastica sulla terrazza vista lago. Una piccola oasi di pace. Complimenti!

Amazing hotel in amazing location with amazing staff

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Hotel Marconi. This a family-owned and operated property that is beautifully located on the water, close to shopping and sights plus very comfortable. Our room had a balcony with lake view and offered every important amenity. The owners are lovely and can't do enough for you during your stay. We were given plenty of information on what to do and how to navigate the area. A special highlight are the meals, which are all homemade, plentiful and delicious. Our dinners with candlelight and a lake view were particularly magical. And we enjoyed an especially relaxing late morning/early afternoon sitting on a two-seater swing next to the lake watching the ducks play and boats go by.

This really is a wonderful hotel, with a spectacular view of the lake and close to the quay to get commuter boats for getting around the lake. All restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance. Carlo and his family, along with Manuel and Mario can not do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble, The rooms are simply styled and spotlessly clean, lovely bathrooms, air conditioning, fridge, hair dryer. Breakfast is a delight with home make cakes everyday, along with fluffy scrambled eggs and continent breakfast, fresh orange juice and any combination of coffee you could wish for. The added touch of towels for swimming off the decking into the lake, saves on your luggage allowance. Complimentary use of bikes should you wish to explore that way rather than going by boat are offered also. We have stayed before and would not hesitate to stay again. Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed! We stayed with friends, who had not been before and they absolutely loved it too. We are planning to return next year as it really is a very special place for us and now our friends.

Amazing! This is a fabulous family run hotel. Staff are amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us and they have great knowledge of the local area. Lovely breakfast & evening meals are available. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a great time :)

Das Personal war großartig. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Lecker Essen und jeden Abend auf der Terrasse ein grandioser Sonnenuntergang. Perfekt.

It was wonderful. Home made pastries for breakfast, great meal for dinner. If traveling with a lot of luggage, be warned that you have a 10 minute walk from the taxi stand.
