Alpenheim Charming & Spa Hotel

The hotel does have some nice features: the staff were generally friendly, the room was clean, and the view from the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of choices — definitely one of the highlights.

However, the overall value for money was quite low. We were traveling with a child, and although the staff asked at check-in if we needed a bed prepared, this should have been arranged beforehand since we had already booked for a family. What really made the experience unpleasant was the sense of unequal treatment toward Asian guests. Our room was placed in a low corner of the hotel, and the sofa was even torn. During breakfast, we noticed that Asian guests were seated in a darker corner of the restaurant, away from the windows, while Western guests were all given bright tables near the windows. It was quite uncomfortable and disappointing to see. Overall, despite some good aspects, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to Asian travelers — it simply doesn’t offer good value or fair treatment.

Nice rooms, good beds, great food! Excellent service, spacious rooms, great view. All in all a very nice place to stay if/when you are going to the Dolomites.

Room was spacious with great view. Facilities all good…restaurant dinner and breakfast, pool, parking everything. Matilda on reception was a star and very welcoming and helpful.

Just a bit of a walk to town centre and cable car but not a real issue.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Indoor outdoor warm pool. You can swim comfortably in the rain with the most beautiful view. The 5 course dinner is quite frankly superb at an ad on cost of 20 euros for half board! See my photos of some of the menus. Halibut, wild boar, mountain trout, superb home made pasta dishes, divine deserts. I came for three days and stayed for the week. Karen, many thanks for your help with every request. Don’t hesitate! Book half board!

Superb 5 course dinner at an ad on cost of 20 euros! Halibut, wild boar, homemade pasta beautifully prepared and presented by three fabulous chefs. Gorgeous indoor outdoor pool so warm you can swim in the rain. Fantastic location with gorgeous views.

Nice view of the town from our room.

Expensive for value received. Unreliable plumbing. The toilet would keep running, even after two notifications to management. The shower had unpredictable swings in temperature. The location is on the fringe of town and quite a steep walk to return to the hotel. We will not stay here again.

De locatie is perfect. Je kan lopen naar de kabelbanen voor Seceda en Alpe di Siusi. De spa is geweldig met prachtig uitzicht.
