Rainell Dolomites Retreat

The hotel was beautiful, located within a very cute mountain city that had great food and easy access to endless trails for hiking. I appreciated the included access to multiple spa amenities in the evening and the cake happy hour was a nice touch in the evenings.

While I was there during an usually hot week early in the spring (highs in the 80s), sleeping was very uncomfortable as the hotel does not have air conditioning or even a fan that could be brought to the room. Historical temps show that it gets to these warm temperatures in the summer so a ceiling fan, portable fan or even a screen on the door would be much appreciated for guests’ comfort. Additionally the all in one shampoo/body wash/hand soap with no conditioner and very rough, worn towels were a disappointment that seem like an easy update for a comfortable shower experience after a long hike or day of skiing.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are amazing, the rooms are so comfortable (with beautiful views), the amenities are incredible and you can’t beat the location!!!! We hope to return one day - truly a gem in the amazing Dolomites!!

This small family run hotel does Everything right! From the room design (including plenty of storage, lights and outlets), to the generous breakfast buffet and fine dining dinners, to the helpful staff, spacious ski locker room and the beautiful Wellness Center! This is a great retreat for exploring the Dolomites! Some apartments are in a secondary building that requires uphill walking. The Chef did an amazing job accommodating a vegetarian diet. Every night offered a protein for vegetarians - over 5 nights, each night was different!

Loved the outdoor breakfast area and outdoor space and view. Loved the staff. Rooms were good. Very clean which I loved.

Beds and pillows too firm. Need better gluten free bread options. Would be nice to plant or pot more of a green screen to block parking lot views while you eat breakfast. Inside restaurant is very tight.

L'albergo gode di una vista strepitosa sul paese e sulle montagne. Tutto rinnovato. Camera e bagno spaziosi. Personale gentilissimo e pulizia impeccabile. C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare la macchina al.coperto (a pagamento). La piscina riscaldata esterna a sfioro è stupenda perché ha una vista panoramica e così anche la sauna che ha tutte le vetrate che danno sulle montagne. La massaggiatrice Alexa bravissima. Non cambiatela mai! Colazione eccellente dolce e salata. Abbiamo cenato due sere al ristorante. Buffet self service ricco e buono. Piatti serviti a tavola invece troppo elaborati con salse varie.

Il servizio navetta gratuito che mette a disposizione l'albergo da e per il centro o gli impianti sciistici dovrebbe essere prolungato oltre le sei di sera, almeno fino alle 22. Altrimenti senza la macchina diventa faticoso rientrare in albergo dopo le 18 perché c'è una salita bella ripida da fare. E se non si ha la macchina andare a bere un aperitivo o a cena in centro diventa un po' proibitivo.
