Hotel De La Ville

A great place to stay before a cruise. It has a great location to just walk out the door & find good restaurants, cash machine & a grocery store.

We love how central it is and how it feels like an old Colonial hotel with high ceilings. We always stay here when in Civitavecchia

Instead of staff having to confirm whether yiu are staying in the hotel they should have key card access for the lifts and for the breakfast restaurant. Unless your room card is activated you cannot gain entry to lifts/rooms and to the Restaurant. Should someone not have booked bed and breakfast they can purchase access to Restaurant with a temporary access card

I liked the staff and location. The pillows were nice.

The bed was super hard. The shower was unbelievably small. My husband is 5'9" and 180lbs. He barely got in. Going up and down the stairs was extremely annoying. We couldn't lift our luggage to our room. Do not book the double level room if you struggle with stairs, you are disabled, or you have a bad back.

Nice comfortable room and decent WiFi.
