Santa Caterina was the best place we stayed. It was stunning, the facilities were amazing and so original. With their lemon garden to the old fashioned lift taking you down to the pool, we wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. The staff were so friendly, helpful and were always on hand with whatever we needed. There is a free shuttle taking you into and back from the main Amalfi town but it is also an easy walk if you do it in daylight.

Just be careful when you sit on the seats, the stunning flowers may have dropped and one stained my husband's trousers!

"Amazing escape with stunning views and friendly and helpful staff!"

Absolutely stunning hotel with beautiful views. Easily one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. We traveled the first week in April and the wisteria on the terrace was in full bloom - an added perk! The staff are incredible and the grounds are extensive and stunning. The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle to and from Amalfi. Parking is 30 euro per day but made very easy. The beds were a little firm for my taste but even so I'd happily stay here again just given how amazing the hotel is.

"Refined luxury in a beautiful location"

The Santa Caterina is a place of peace and luxury within the rather manic Amalfi Coast. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite which was fantastic, and gave us far greater space than we had expected. All of the staff were extremely professional and friendly and the location was perfect - we had been concerned about the ability to get to Amalfi town, but the hotel shuttle was available up to midnight with just a call. The breakfast was excellent, particularly on sunny mornings on the outside terrace, while both Glicine (for dinner) and Al Mare (for lunch) were well worth visiting. The pool area is a real bonus, with plenty of seating area by the sea and a heated pool. It is well worth treating yourself to a stay.
