Our stay was absolutely amazing. We love the proximity to the beach and the water. We had a great view from our balcony. The staff were fantastic, helpful, kind, and friendly. Can’t even begin to say enough about the breakfast in the morning. The food was the best we had our entire stay, freshly and intimately prepared.

"Beware of ants and outdated rooms!"

I had high expectations for this hotel based on the reviews, but the reality is that the rooms are in poor condition, dated, and worst of all, ant-infested. On the last night of our stay, we bought a takeout pizza and ate a bit of it before placing it on one of the tables while we did some work and got ready for bed. 2 hours later, we returned to discover that the entire table was covered with ants, along with ants crawling around the entire living area of the room. On our first night, we had noticed ants in the room and on our luggages and had notified housekeeping, but the problem was never rectified during our 3-day stay. After notifying management, we were only offered a tiny credit off a future stay and then ghosted after that. Ants were not the only issue we experienced during the stay. One of the 2 air conditioning units didn't work at all, there was constant plumbing noises coming from the bathroom, and worst of all, the mattress had a strong odor to it on one side. The wifi also didn't work at all for us. I think this hotel has high reviews because of its location, but the price point is much too high. A clean room should be the minimum expectation but this hotel failed to deliver. The ants were disgusting and this issue needs to be addressed by management.

Property was nice. Too many steps to get up to the main street. Its 146 steps to the surface. Other than that it was awesome. The views were fantastic...

"NOT WORTH THE PRICE"

The front desk attendant was extremely friendly and the balcony is OK, however, not worth it for the price. The room is VERY dated, the furniture is worn and our room had an obstructed view (which is NOT shown in any of the many photos on their website). BE WARNED that some of the rooms are in a different building and have no view of Positano but they are the same price as any other room. For the view that we had it was NOT WORTH IT! I privately wrote to the hotel prior to writing this review and received a canned "Sorry" response. Very disappointing.

Amazing hotel and staff. Delicious restaurant and their breakfast great too.They are super helpful they arranged our taxi services to Naples. Thank God this place has a porter to help with the luggage. Those who have stayed in Positano known how hard it is to walk down and up stairs with luggage. We stayed in the ocean view with a balcony room and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again.
