Hotel Casa Albertina

Everything about Casa Albertina was perfect and delightful! The staff was a love. Grazie Andreas for your wonderful service and kindness every morning. To the rest of the staff and owners, you have a very special little escape from the craziness of the world at Casa Albertina. Positano will forever be one of our most cherished memories. Wonderful View, the room was excellent and the staff was great. One issue was that there was a sewer smell that seemed to be coming through the shower drain, it was ok as long as the shower water was running.

Breakfast was good but eggs were runny

We had the privilege to stay at Hotel Casa Albertinia for 4 nights. This was the best decision ever. The location cannot be better! Only a few steps from the main road to the shops & restaurants. When we saw the view from our balcony, I had tears in my eyes… It is absolutely wow!!!! You cannot get any better than this. The room was on the 3rd floor. It was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The staff go out of their way to assist and always have a smile on their face. We had an amazing breakfast every morning on the patio with the beautiful view. If you need accommodation in Positano, don’t look any further! Absolutely great value for money!

The view and the location was magic. The staff were amazing. They were so welcoming it felt like home. From the team that greeted us at street level to collect our bags to house keeping, we were well looked after. Laura was so lovely and helpful.

People will complain about stairs but you cannot stay in Positano without stairs. They helped us with the bags on our first day which we appreciated.

The staff were so friendly and made my boyfriend and I feel very welcomed. They have so many amenities to offer such as, complimentary beach towels, breakfast, luggage storage and assistance and the most amazing views from both the roof top bar and the balcony where breakfast is served.

Not a dislike, just something to note - the hotel has amazing views of the ocean but that means there are quite a few stairs to climb.

Just a gorgeous experience! All the staff were incredible and our room was small but gorgeous... with views to die for. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant location and decor were stunning. porter service was amazing and definitely needed.

Arrival was a bit confusing. We drove and it wasn't clear how to arrive. If driving, go directly to the car park you have booked and they will be able to drop you to the hotel entrance. there is restricted entry to the streets and no parking nearby. The hotel can offer a porter service which is awesome because the stairs up to the hotel were killer!

My wife and I chose Hotel Casa Albertina for our honeymoon, and for most of our stay, it was lovely. It's a charming boutique hotel with stunning, unbelievable views from the balcony of our room (though note, balcony privacy is limited). We were fully prepared to give a 5-star review. However, a disturbing incident on our final night completely changed our perspective and revealed a shocking lack of duty of care from the management. While returning to the hotel via the steep, dark alleyway approach (approx. 50 steps), we found two young women in clear distress. One was nearly unconscious—limp, unable to speak, with dilated eyes—while her friend, who seemed only slightly intoxicated, was struggling to help her. The friend stated they had just been drinking at the Hotel Casa Albertina rooftop bar. As my wife is a nurse, we immediately stopped to assist. Concerned for their safety on the dark steps, we made the logical decision to help the incapacitated woman back up to the hotel lobby, the very establishment that had served them, so she could sober up safely and we could arrange a secure ride home. The receptionist's reaction was appalling. He was immediately hostile, refused help, and demanded we remove her from the premises. We were not accusing anyone of anything; we were simply trying to ensure a patron's safety. The hotel's defensive and aggressive stance was telling and deeply unsettling. I ultimately had to carry this young woman down all 50 steps myself to get her and her friend into a taxi (we confirmed they got home safely). The most unbelievable part was the manager confronting and yelling at us during checkout the next morning, reiterating that we were "wrong" to bring her to the lobby. The complete lack of concern for a customer's well-being is unacceptable. I cannot stress this enough: I would caution anyone, especially women traveling alone or in small groups, to be extremely aware of their surroundings and seriously reconsider patronizing this hotel's rooftop bar. The management's priority is clearly avoiding liability over ensuring patron safety. Their vicious reaction to our good-faith attempt to help was appalling and ruined our honeymoon's final impression. In good conscience, I cannot recommend this hotel or its bar to anyone. The view is not worth the risk
