Ik vond de gerechten van het restaurant wat simpel in tegenstelling tot de rest. Het ontbijt was prima.

Hotel Villa La Principessa is definitely what I'd call a hidden gem! When we left the motorway, and the satnav suggested we were only 10 minutes away, I feared the worst. But when we arrived at the front door - wow! - what a lovely building. A grand old Italian hotel. We were made to feel instantly at home. and they fussed our dog. which I think says a lot about the place. The room was quirky (with a landscape mural on the wall), but plenty large enough for us. And the bed was super comfy, with spare pillows in the cupboard. Our only gripe was that the fridge wouldn't get properly cold. A big shout to the staff. We couldn't get in to dinner one night, as there was an event happening. But the kitchen still managed to rustle up a light supper for us. which was so appreciated, given how busy they must have been. Lastly, Hotel Villa La Principessa is only 10 minutes away from the beautiful walled city of Lucca. So the excellent location was an added bonus. If we're ever that way again, we'll definitely being booked another stay.

Nothing really. See above comment re; room fridge. And there were mosquitos in the gardens at night - so keep your room windows shut in the evening.

Ein wirklich hundefreundliches Hotel!! Besonders erwähnenswert war das Personal im Restaurant. Super freundlich und nett!! Die Hunde dürfen sogar mit in den Frühstücksraum.
