wollte ja in die therme im park - dann hab ich umentschieden - und bin durchs land getingelt

Lite familiedrevet hotell i rolige omgivelser. Rommet var ikke stort, upraktisk bad (langt og smalt)men ok for 2 netter. Frokosten ble servert utendørs...koselig. Kunne benytte badebasseng hos "datterhotell" (Astoria) 10 minutter gange gjennom parken. Anbefaler og ta "toget" (Fløybanen), opp til topp på fjellet, koselig by der oppe og fin utsikt( dette er på motsatt side av parken hotellet ligger inntil).

Hotel was very dated and beds were uncomfortable. The patio outside and the breakfast were the best part of the stay.

Un bell'albergo per chi non ha pretese,con la maggior parte dei sevizi in camera, ben pulite ma arredamento stile liberty. Unica pecca bisognava farsi la doccia nella vasca da bagno per giunta senza aggancio. Buona colazione.

We enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by the staff. Good location on the park.

Accsess with car is little bit complicated. If you come with car then in the morning you need to get paper that you were allowed to drive into the city otherwize you will get a fine. Friendly staff, not all of then speaks english :) clean hotel. Not much to eat in the morning but it is common in Italy- only sweet things.

A nice old hotel, with new and well chosen decoration in keeping with the period. Large room, elegant furniture, with balcony overlooking park. Very good breakfast, helpful staff. Sitting and eating area outside under beautiful trees, small car park. The restaurant had a very good menu. Near to town, up slight incline.

Quaint older hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom and shower was spotless with hot water for my morning shower. Great location with a calming quiet setting. I would stay there again.

The place is wonderfully located, and I don't mean just the geographical location (a beautiful town is in the heart of Tuscany), but also the location of the hotel in the town - next to a beautiful park (yet walking distance to the center). I had a single room which was kind of small but good enough for me. The size was definitely compensated by the style - the old-style furniture looked classy. Breakfasts were served outside (unless it rained), in a little garden facing a beautiful park, which was great. Food for the breakfasts was more like hostel food, but it was edible. Their dinners, however, were something that might well be served in a good rstaurant - and I am writing that as someone with rather high standards when it comes to food. Dinner menu changed every evening and always included some "local" stuff (pasta, tomato soup, ham, etc.), which was delicious. In addition, the food was served in a way that made you feel like a king - to be honest, I have never been to a hotel that would serve food in such beautiful dishes, and use so elegant utensils! And their desserts are something to die for! I have to add, however, that I was upset by the cleaning ladies' respect for one's privacy (or lack thereof). Once she came into my room - without any knocking! - when I was in bed. The other time - even worse - another one came in - again no knocking - even though I had left a "do not disturb" notice on my door! That was a stretch!
