Hotel Certosa Di Maggiano

J'ai réservé une nuit dans cet hôtel pour une occasion spéciale. Le personnel a été adorable, très attentionné tout au long du séjour. Le lieu est magnifique, au calme à moins de 15 minutes en voiture de Sienne, le tout dans une ambiance chic décontractée. Les salons et autres espaces à disposition sont plein de cachet. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner. Je recommande.

Absolutely everything. We stayed for 1 night but we wished it was longer. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. The drinks were superb and not too expensive. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was also excellent. The red snapper and the duck ragu tagliatelle were both delicious and the wine, perfect. Location was top notch, stunning views and a lovely 30 minute scenic walk into Siena. Our room was absolutely flawless, very clean, very stylish and very comfortable. With a stunning view out to the bell tower. Within an hour of being here, we were already planning our return, and return we most certainly will!

I would give this 10 stars if I could! Just had the best stay. Perfect three days! Beautiful property! The decor is on point, charming and whimsical. The food among the best we ate in Italy. The staff set a new high bar for customer service even before we arrived and throughout our visit. It felt like saying goodbye to family when we left. Concierge Michelle helped us to plan outstanding dinners, Paola at the front desk enthusiastically welcomed us and provided great service throughout. Faith at the pool was a bright, warm host. And the evening bartender was not only expert in mixology - asking our preferred flavor profiles before suggesting drink variations- but also in Siena history. Great ambassadors of La Certosa, Siena, and Italy one and all!

I almost don’t want to post this review as I’d prefer to keep this gem of a hotel a secret!! But, that wouldn’t be fair to all those who have yet to discover this magical place! It is an incredibly beautiful building with the most perfectly curated interiors. The food served is amazing as well. I’ve kept the highest praise for this wonderful hotel last on here……the staff we were lucky enough to encounter are the true stars of Certosa Di Maggiano. From the moment we arrived, Michelle ( she had to find us in the car park as we got slightly lost) and her radiant smile and warm personality looked after us as though we were long lost family! Thereafter we met so many other fantastic people…..Lu, Chiara, Aurrette, Faith, Yulia, Riccardo and Antonio ( to name but some ) who even created a cocktail for me😊 which was delicious! Our time in Siena and Tuscany was made incredibly special because of this truly fabulous hotel.
