Villa Scacciapensieri Boutique Hotel

L'hotel si trova in una villa d’epoca con un parco meraviglioso, a circa 3 km dal centro di Siena. C'è un giardino e una terrazza che, sebbene fosse ancora un po’ freddo durante il nostro soggiorno, promettono momenti incantevoli; il semplice panorama fa già sognare. La nostra camera aveva un piccolo soggiorno al piano inferiore e, al piano superiore, una zona notte su una sorta di soppalco; lo spazio era molto accogliente. La colazione era buona e varia, e il personale sempre disponibile e cortese. Avremmo voluto restare più a lungo!

L’hotel non è nuovissimo, quindi qualche aggiornamento, ad esempio delle finestre, potrebbe rendere il soggiorno ancora più confortevole nei mesi freddi; comunque, ci siamo sentiti davvero a nostro agio.

Wspaniały pobyt👌willa oferuje przemiłą, rodzinną atmosferę. Pokój czysty, a obsługa niezwykle pomocna. Bardzo smaczne śniadania. Lokalizacja idealna. Z pewnością tu wrócimy, przepięknie widoki.

A nostalgic trip for us as we had a memorable stay way back in 1999. Same spectacular view of Siena from the bedroom that we remembered from our previous visit. Very comfortable bedroom with high quality bedding. We had two nice dinners in the hotel restaurant… although given the relatively limited menu we ended up eating the same food both nights. The staff were nice.

Little appeared to have changed in the 27 years since our previous visit… could benefit from some updating. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Understaffed… so if dinner is being served no real chance of getting a drink at the bar. The repeated notices warning about outside food and drinks being prohibited and penalties for breaking this rule was off putting… especially given given that you couldn’t even get a biscuit if you ordered a cup of tea ( and they ran out of English tea after one day… fortunately I was not penalised for using my own tea bag).

Very beautiful location. The hotel looks great, there are some great views from the garden. The hotel kept its architectural structure and the furniture as well. The staff was kind and very helpful. The breakfast was fine.

This hotel is a total scam. This was happened in July 2025. They stated that no outside food or drinks were allowed on the premises, however nobody informed us the food policy when checked in. One night, staff saw us bringing a pizza back to our room but said nothing at the time. The next morning, they suddenly demanded a €50 fine. We tried to reason with them, but they insisted on charging my credit card anyway. This was an unfair dispute and an unreasonable charge. Luckily, my credit card company eventually reversed the €50 charge. Please think twice before booking this hotel.
