Park Hotel ai Cappuccini

The property is absolutely stunning. Throughout the property are beautiful portraits, and tapestries. The lobby is very warm and inviting. The property at dusk is so beautiful with the rainbow colors in the sky and the beautiful Italian ambiance of the facade. It’s gorgeous. There was a wedding taking place which it’s a beautiful venue to have a wedding. The hotel is very clean. We traveled with children and everyone was very accommodating for the children. The breakfast offered especially on Sunday has a great variety especially western options (eggs, pancakes, American coffee)

I felt like for the price, some things could be more updated, but I don’t blame the hotel, I blame Hilton who ultimately has this hotel listed as part of their properties that’s not a chain. The beds were ok, very stiff actually. The thread count on the sheets, I’m not usually a snob for this but I noticed how not soft these sheets were. Stating simply, it was that noticeable. Also, we learned that in October, Italian hotels turn off the air completely when the temp drops below a certain temperature. The room wasn’t miserable uncomfortable, it’s just the air didn’t circulate so the room became stuffy and stagnant.

Staff was not interested in guests, just doing a job. Lobby bathroom was down a dark hallway, which led to another darker hallway which led to an even darker bathroom entranceway. The room was adequate but the bathroom floor was very slippery. We had to put towels on the floor to prevent slipping. Breakfast experience was not good. No friendly staff, 2 coffee pots were empty, had to flag down a server who had to brew more, card on the table said they had tea or cappuccino but no server came to our table, had to flag one down again to get a cappuccino. When a guest went to the front desk to ask a question, front staff person did not bother to get up from her desk ( the desk was on a platform at the back of reception) to come and assist the guest She just asked, "Can I help you?" What happened to customer service where you stop what you're doing and come to the guest to help?

E’ una bella struttura storica situata a breve distanza dall’ingresso in Gubbio immersa nella natura. Giusto rapporto qualita’ prezzo.

Beautiful nice luxurious hotel. The rooms and the bed were fantastic. Especially Marco and Alfredo made our stay in the hotel a pleasant and memorable experience 😊
