Friendly service, very convenient location right on downtown. Renovations in progress but minor impact to clients. Rooms are pretty and comfy for a lovely weekend in Ferrara.

Great hotel, very conveniently located in the centre of Ferrara. Very helpful staff. And an excellent breakfast! Highly recommended.

Wie jedes andere Business Hotel halt auch - mit freundlichem Check in. Die Garage ist etwas mühsam und benötigt Hilfe vom Hotelpersonal - bei Eile also etwas mehr Zeit einrechnen

Carlton Hotel is located near castle with easy access to sites and attractions.

I stayed here for Ferrara sightseeing. It is about 10 minutes walk from the station. There is no hotel around the station so you need to walk 10 minutes to find any hotels in Ferrara. Room was clean, it is not spacious but kept clean.

Nice apartment with sleeping area separated from living area by a hip-wall. Apt is in an adjacent building so you didn't deal with the noise and traffic of receiption area. All cooking amenities/utensils were provided which is great for a visiting family. Excellent breakfast wiht a range of hot and cold items and you could ask the staff to prepare something that wasn't in the buffet. Odd shower arrangement that took some creative dancing skills to use for a North American (not uncommon in many European bathrooms). Wifi - not very good connectivity. System was supposedly upgraded in Oct 2019 with high-end router system (give the hotel a call to confirm). I would recommend staying at this hotel even with the minor inconveniences mentioned.

We had a nice stay at the Carlton. It was walking distance from the train station and right in the old part of town. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of variety. The staff were always very helpful. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Pillows were flat and firm. It’s conveniently located in the center of the historic part of town so easy to see all the sites. I would stay there again.

Great location and staff. Excellent breakfast and convenient cafe / beverages in the lobby. Fitness room could use some newer equipment including free weights. It was unfortunate that Italian law does not permit air conditioning at this time of year as when we opened the window we were subjected to mosquitos. Overall a great hotel to stay at. Highly recommend it!
