We loved our stay here. The location is brilliant for exploring the delightful city of Reggio Emilia and not just because one of the best ice cream shops is at the end of the road--don't miss it! The hotel is mainly used by people on business as there is not a huge tourist side to Reggio apart from at its major music festivals. There is a huge theatre and famous outdoor concerts. We feel in love with Reggio. It is a real italian city and very happy with itself. It has a very relaxed vibe and exceptional restaurants which are very good at a reasonable price. Eating out in one of the squares with the backdrop of beautiful buildings will be a lasting memory. The hotel staff are lovely and breakfast was a delight-wonderful cake and coffee- but lots of fruit and the normal breakfast items as well. The people of Reggio were so helpful and friendly and it is a perfect city to slow down, stroll, drink local wine and watch Italian life at its best. We will go back and explore the villages nearby--if we can be dragged away from the lovley city.

No schuko plug close to the desk to power up a laptop. No complimentary water in the room.

Absolutely perfect location in the heart of Reggio. Simple but very tasteful rooms, very quiet at night!

Elevator was broken and generally a bit rundown.

Large room, clean and good breakfast . Also staff member, Nicolo was super. Very friendly and made great cappuccino.

Lack of umbrellas in the rain

A real Italian experience! The location, in a typical Italian narrow street, was difficult to find and some very careful driving was required. The receptionist could not have been more helpful and lead me through a maze of more narrow streets to the parking garage which I had reserved. The room was fabulous and so was the breakfast. Sadly we didn't have sufficient time to do justice to the own itself.
