Hotel Posta

A charming hotel in a beautiful historic building, right in the city center, with an excellent location. The breakfast was excellent and well thought out. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Most notably, the staff were wonderful. Despite the parking complexity, everything runs smoothly—the team is kind and welcoming. Overall, an excellent hotel to stay in while in the city.

It’s not easy to reach the hotel by car, as you need to pass through ZTL areas (restricted traffic zones where driving is generally not allowed). The hotel provides authorization, but it can still feel a bit stressful to drive through these areas. If you're used to it, it will not be a problem :) In addition, there was a very strong smell of cleaning products in the corridor (not in the room), extremely strong, both on the day we arrived and when we left. The main issue for us was that, apparently, in Italy there is a regulation that does not allow air conditioning to be set to cooling before April 20. The room was quite warm, and it wasn’t possible to switch the AC to cooling due to this rule. That said, the staff were very kind and tried to help—they brought us a fan, which solved the problem.
