Hotel Carillon

The fair haired lady on the reception desk was very nice and helpful and the staff who served the barbecue and the breakfast staff were lovely. The location directly on the lake is good.

We had rooms on the ground level and couldn’t really sit on the terrace because of the constant music from the bar all day. This was ran by younger staff who favoured dance tracks. It spoiled the relaxing ambiance. The hotel unfortunately did not feel very safe for swimming. There were lots of speedboats and jet skis coming and going all the time and they didn’t take enough care. One evening there was a barbecue which was expensive but delicious. However there was a very loud DJ that played music that only he and his friends seemed to appreciate.

Belle chambre avec vue sur le lac. Très joli hôtel avec une ambiance rétro moderne.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Es war als ob wir schon jahrelang dort in den Urlaub kommen! Sehr vertraut. Das Frühstück im hellen Aufenthaltsraum war sehr sehr lecker- alles was das Herz begehrt- es fehlte uns an nichts! Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber reichte völlig aus. Blick auf den See-herrlich! Tolle Hotelbar, viele Liegen zur Verfügung! Der Weg Richtung Feriolo war zu Fuß super erreichbar, dort gibt es viele Restaurants, Bars, etwas Unterhaltung, Musiker... Programm wird auch vom Hotel vorgeschlagen (z.B Besuch der Inseln, Markt in Stresa...)

Beim Steg könnte eine Leiter angebracht werden, dann könnte man dort besser aus dem Wasser heraussteigen! Die Hotelbar draußen hatte nicht so lang geöffnet.
