The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size. The hotel was sufficiently near the centre, about a fifteen-minute walk. There was free parking available.

The decor was somewhat dated, 1980s, and our room, first floor at the back of the building looked out on to a local road that had quite a bit of night traffic. The street lights illuminated the room and the footpath/sidewalk was at window level. For some strange reason the toilet was also uncomfortably high.
