"Bel weekend a Urbino"

Albergo un po' datato ma pulito e accogliente. A pochi minuti da Urbino, fuori dal caos turistico. Ottima la colazione e il ristorante, con prezzi accessibili. Il personale gentile e disponibile.

Uitstekende kamer. Wij zaten in het nieuwe gedeelte van het hotel. Met name de badkamer (regendouche!) is 'state of the art'. Vanaf de parkeerplaats een mooi uitzicht op Urbino. Beneden aan de straat zit een heel fijn restaurant (Amici miei).

Helaas is de aanbouw nog niet voltooid; zodoende beginnen op weekdagen tussen 7.15u en 7.30u de werklui met tegels breken en meer van dat fraais - een onvrijwillige wekservice derhalve. Daarnaast zijn wij redelijk bereisd in Italië - en we weten dat het ontbijt niet de maaltijd is die in de Italiaanse keuken de meeste aandacht krijgt, maar het ontbijtbuffet in dit hotel is zonder twijfel het allerslechtste dat we ooit voorgeschoteld hebben gekregen. Wat sneetjes casinobrood om te roosteren, met plakjes jonge kaas en ham, verder nog kurkdroge croissant - maar daarnaast alleen maar zoetigheid. Er lagen wel kaartjes met teksten als 'uove strapazzate' (roerei), maar blijkbaar wordt dergelijke luxe niet buiten het zomerseizoen geserveerd.
