Hotel de la Telecabine

Hotel situato in frazione dolonne appena fuori Courmayeur, 20 minuti a piedi dal centro, con strada poco illuminata, parcheggio davanti all'hotel gratuito, un po' vetusto anche negli arredi ma pulito, la Wi-Fi nelle stanze non c'è, personale disponibile ed efficente, colazione discreta, bevande dal dispenser, in conclusione un due stelle non tre.

Hotel bom. Cama pequena, travesseiros ruins, no geral bom.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a large group with interski and it did not disappoint. We had a short wait for our rooms, however they were immaculate, small but very clean bathroom and plenty of towels! There was plenty of food at dinner time, even with the amount of people eating - every course there was an offer of seconds!! the hotel itself is located within a short walk to the ski lift. However town is a around a 25 minute walk so we often took the ski lift straight from the mountain to town and then just walked the return to the hotel! The bar hasn't the biggest stock, however at €4 a beer and €2 for a glass of prosecco it's definitely worth a stop before heading into the town as prices double in the bars! When it came to leaving, the hotel let us keep half of our rooms for showers as we had a long wait until our transfer, which was very kind of them - and even gave out fresh towels on request. Overall the whole group had a great stay and would stay there again if I was to return to courmayeur! :)

Ottima posizione, camera confortevole e pulita, cambio asciugamani e dotazione di bagnoschiuma ottimi. Colazione abbondante a buffet con dolce e salato, adeguata per sportivi, cena con menu appropriato per golosi, vegetariani, ma anche piatti leggeri, con pochi grassi, e tantissime verdure a buffet. Personale gentilissimo e sempre pronto a soddisfare le richieste. Nel periodo tra Natale e Capodanno abbiamo trovato navetta dell'hotel a disposizione per raggiungere paese, impianti da sci, e per tornare all'hotel. Ampio parcheggio. Zona tranquilla nel verde. Buon rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Un hôtel qui commence à dater un peu mais qui est correcte qualité prix. Il faut une voiture pour se rendre à Courmayeur mais peut se faire à pied si on prend le temps. Quelques restaurants dans les parages à env 5-10 min de marche mais qui était malheureusement fermés lors de notre séjour.

Basic hotel but did the job

The hotel was good but not great, this is partly due to the fact I stayed in the low season, as such there was nothing open nearby, including the restaurant at the hotel, so you needed to go into the main part of town to get food (approx 1.3km) which is a pretty decent size walk if you don't have a car. The other problem I found was the lack of wifi and tv in the rooms. The reception on the tv wasn't working for the 3 days we were there and only picked up 3 channels which were all only in Italian or French, even english shows were dubbed over and selecting the english audio didn't make them english. Normally I'd just look at the internet however the wifi didn't work in the room so you need to sit near reception. As such if you are someone that likes to chill out in your room you might want to look elsewhere. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and comfortable with great views. The staff were very friendly and helped with any questions.

We visited as a school ski group in February and loved it! It is in a gorgeous area, close to everything you need. The skiing was excellent and the resort is stunning. Staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Ive stayed here over the years while working for Interski. Have always had a very pleasant stay. The staff are very accommodating and super friendly. The lounge area is very social with a small bar, arcade and plenty of space to socialise or sit quietly. A very nice sauna is available through a booking system. I didn't use it this season but it has been wonderful in previous ones. Lovely views across the river to the village of Courmayuer and the alps.

I stayed at this hotel a year ago with my school whilst on our second skii trip in Italy. The staff within this hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly, which is what kids need whilst away from home. The rooms seem quite small but they're only to sleep in, the hotel had free WiFi however it was sometimes limited in our rooms. The rooms in which we stayed in had a set of bunk beds and two single beds as well as walldrobes, three dressers and a bathroom. The rooms were not cleaned throughout the stay as this was our own responsibility. The food within the hotel was not the best but to me, I don't really like much English food anyway,I think the hotel just tried to accomodate English children. The minimal Italian food we had was to die for! This hotel was within walking distance from the main skii lifts up to the mountain as well as walking distance to ice skating and the town centre! This is a perfect little stay for those couples or groups.
