Hotel Bougainville

Good location and view. Supportive and helpful staff.

The hotel has different types of room levels, which are very contrary. Either large bright rooms with windows overlooking the scenic Positano or windows facing the mountain with mini windows and smelly rooms - very dark. We booked (by mistake) the smaller 12m2 room and were horrified by the smallness, darkness and category in general. However we told the staff and they fixed it for the next day - they switched us to a different category and we have been in luck. The other room was very good.

The room was amazing and the service from the reception was amazing. Imma was amazing!

The staff was so helpful. Rosa gave us plenty of suggestions on what to do in Positano. The breakfast was great, room was comfortable, and I will be a returning guest.

I can't think of anything. Since I have to write something here, I would say the stairs. But you are going to Positano, a city on a hill. so it would be silly for you to think that stairs would not be involved.

The location was good. Not too far from the port. The breakfast room was partially open to the street which was nice.

A strange banging each night. The bathroom was unusually small. The breakfast was OK.
