Villa Maria Hotel & SPA

Accommodation was ok, but the furniture is a bit old, the bed is ok, but the mattress should be changed, it was quite well used. Did not had breakfast so I cannot give feedback about that. Other facilities were not used, so no feedback about that too. Bathroom was not to my linking, but that is the case with all Italian bathrooms, I just don't like the layout and the choice of shower cabin, so no complaints about this specific bathroom in this location (I don't like any Italian bathrooms).

I hate all Italian bathrooms (What is the point of that sink in the shape of a toilet? Nobody uses it, ever, it's just there to take up space, nothing more.). Please change the mattress, it's old and past it's comfort days.

Il parco è il punto forza, assieme alla comodità di ampio parcheggio. Valida la camera familiare con un bel terrazzo vista mare. Bella la SPA.

Purtroppo necessita di molta più pura e manutenzione oltreché di pulizia: le sedie e i tavolini sul terrazzo della nostra camera non erano usufruibili per presenza di feci di uccelli. La piscina grande blu, per quanto bella, rimane quasi completamente all’ombra al pomeriggio. Il fatto inoltre che occorra dipendere dalla presenza del bagnino per potervi accedere rende l’esperienza piuttosto limitata. I marmi esterni necessitano sicuramente di una pulizia a fondo, perché il segno del tempo, e direi anche un po’ l’usura, si vedono tutti. Infine anche la camera potrebbe essere più curata nei dettagli. In generale, è una struttura che mostra i limiti della sua dimensione e della difficoltà nel mantenerla estensivamente.

Im großen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Die Lage und die Aussicht ist sensationell schön.

Das Personal beim Frühstück hat uns teilweise ignoriert, vielleicht weil wir kein italienisch sprechen. Unser Zimmer war oberflächlich sauber, aber für ein 4Sterne Hotel sollte auch im Bad und alle Möbel im Zimmer und im Flur sauber sein. Der schuttleservice war zwar ok, aber nicht alle Fahrer waren motiviert. Auf der Dachterasse fehlt ein Sonnenschutz. Hier kann man sich tagsüber nicht aufhalten, es sei denn die direkte Sonne macht nichts aus.

Staff absolutely lovely. Couldn't be better. Really beautiful grounds with a beautifully maintained and quite large pool. Food was fantastic.

The hotel is perched on a hill with wonderful views out towards the sea. It's slightly isolated though, so perfect it you either have a car or are content to stay put in the gardens and by the pool all day, but limited scope to walk into nearby towns.

Jammern auf hohem Niveau? Eier zum Frühstück sollten im Preis enthalten sein....
