De ligging tussen San Gimignano en Volterra was zeer goed! Het zwembad was ook goed van temperatuur en bood de nodige verkoeling.

Voor net geen €200 per nacht te betalen, hadden we meer comfort verwacht. De kamer rook naar een muffe kelder, het bed was niet comfortabel. Het domein zelf heeft potentieel, maar is toe aan een opknapbeurt. We vinden de naam “resort” nogal hoog gegrepen.

When we arrived there was a strong smell of scent. We realised they have put those plug in air fresheners in to mask the damp smell. The place is very old and hasn’t been updated. The pictures advertised are not what it looks like. We didn’t end up staying there, we couldn’t, the bed was rock hard, it is on a very busy and noisy road that isn’t safe to walk anywhere. When I told the owner we couldn’t stay she got very upset. She offered another room but we couldn’t stand the smell of the place. I called her to just refund the money we had paid for breakfast and said I didn’t expect a refund for the unused room. She threw the 20 euro at me and was very rude and angry. I would not recommend staying here.
