Hotel "La Pensione Svizzera"

Super helpful and friendly staff particularly Antonella with initial contact and help with booking airport transfers etc. Also Mario gave us brilliant recommendations for where to eat out which we really appreciated and also gave us lots of delicious drinks during happy hour!

Lack of window in the bathroom

The location was perfect. The breakfast room had a lovely ocean view. They served both hot and cold breakfast items which were good. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in booking tours and suggesting restaurants. The room was comfortable and had a large balcony. They even had a couple of close by parking spaces.

Great staff, so friendly when we arrived and super helpful. Room had beautiful views over the sea and the breakfast was beautiful.

Very well positioned near the bus station, cable car and easy walking to the main area. The view from our room was amazing. Everywhere very clean. Everyone was very helpful and we were particularly well looked after by the breakfast staff. A great choice at breakfast.

A very nice stay. It's definitely a pensione, as opposed to a boutique hotel, so no water or coffee maker or toiletries. But we loved the location and the outside terrace. A cheap price point for Taormina which was great.

I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews of breakfast - we struggled with it. Nothing fresh in terms of fruit or juice. Packaged yogurts, many different pastries etc. If you don't eat processed food, you will be a bit stuck.
