A-Haven Townhouse Hotel

The property is ideally situated out of the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh’s city centre, but still a minutes walk from a bus stop with buses to take you straight into town. The gorgeous property is attended by a lovely host and attentive staff.

The room was cozy and simple. Very clean. Breakfast was included and great. You do have a window, so make sure you check everything out and know the times. The property is a little bit older, but it is part of the charm and the owners do an amazing job of making you feel welcome.

Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Hoewel het hotel aan een druk kruispunt ligt, merk je daar door het vele groen rond het gebouw nauwelijks iets van. Ook in de kamer was het omgevingsgeluid amper hoorbaar. Er is een eigen parkeerplaats beschikbaar. Het centrum is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de bus en ook een halte van de hop-on-hop-offbus ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten wandelen van het hotel. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was heel goed. Het is geen klassiek ontbijtbuffet, maar je wordt aan tafel bediend en kan kiezen uit een menu. Daarnaast zijn er ook extras zoals fruit, koffie, thee, yoghurt, cornflakes, ... beschikbaar.

Het hotel zelf is gevestigd in een klassiek, ouder gebouw. Houd er daarom rekening mee dat de kamers wat kleiner zijn en dus verouderd zijn.
