Palazzo Starace

What a great little place Palazzo Starace is. It is super central, you are definitely right in the middle of town here. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing; so much choice of delicious items. Definitely recommend a stay at Palazzo Starace.

We booked for two single beds; they were very narrow. I am not sure they were full sized singles.

Hugely useful location (don't ignore the back street for access in and out when you're tired of the hubbub of the main road - quiet and quick!). Close to Iamme Ia, which has tons of truly excellent guided tours; near Bar Ercolano, a delightful spot for relaxed refreshment while people watching (and maybe keeping one eye on Gli Azzurri, if a match is on). The staff at Palazzo Starace are attentive and responsive, providing a warm welcome. We received a WhatsApp message with loads of really good local recommendations within minutes of settling in our room. I see some reviews saying the rooms are basic - yes, but very comfortable, and they are kept immaculately clean. The complimentary bottles of water left in the room every day were appreciated. But let's not sleep on the real star of the show. It's breakfast, starring these delightful staff members and an array of delicious local tomatoes, cucumbers, gorgeous cheeses... YES, North Americans, you can get your scrambled eggs here. They'll make a delicious espresso or cappuccino for you on the spot (you will NOT regret it). A delight. Cannot wait to return!

Great property with character. Very clean. Amazing room with balcony overlooking the street. Comfortable beds. Fab shower. Wonderful food and choices for breakfast. Such central location. Staff were fantastic and were friendly, polite, efficient and went above and beyond.

Ubicación, comodidad, el desayuno muy bueno, la atención de Miguel y Lucciana muy atenta, buena comunicación. Tren a 7 min caminando. Recomendado 100%

Todo ok

Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Posizione ottima, la stazione dei treni dista veramente pochi minuti a piedi. Ottima colazione con buona scelta tra dolce e salato. Letto molto comodo . Camera piccolina ma con tutto il necessario. Bottigliette d' acqua naturale e gassata a disposizione gratuitamente nel minibar.

Per me, unica nota negativa della stanza dove abbiamo dormito il cattivo isolamento acustico soprattutto verso i rumori dall' esterno.
