Rustic, original , comfortable. Location good and room very clean. Breakfast was nice and more than adequate. Breakfast room was so pretty and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Swimming pool was a lovely bonus after a day of sightseeing.

Nothing we didn’t like but maybe a little welcome package would have been nice . Even if it was just milk to make coffee .

La posizione comodissima a Siena ma comunque immerso nella pace e nel silenzio

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido hotel, a circa 15 minuti di auto da Siena, e possiamo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. La struttura è immersa completamente nel verde: sembra di trovarsi in un piccolo borgo di casette di campagna ristrutturate, che hanno però mantenuto tutto il loro fascino originale. Gli interni sono curati nei minimi dettagli: illuminazione accogliente, televisore grande, letti comodissimi e bagni pratici e ben rifiniti. Noi abbiamo alloggiato nelle stanze Spiga 2 e Spiga 3 e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ogni casetta dispone anche di una zona comune, dotata di frigorifero, forno a microonde e tavolo, perfetta per rilassarsi in autonomia. Molto bella anche la piscina: non enorme, ma immersa nella natura e ideale per staccare la spina. La colazione è abbondante e di ottima qualità. Un plauso speciale allo staff: la signora alla reception è stata disponibilissima e il ragazzo che serviva le colazioni – credo faccia parte della famiglia – è stato davvero simpatico e gentile, contribuendo a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Sicuramente torneremo qui alla nostra prossima visita a Siena e lo consigliamo senza esitazione a chi cerca relax, comfort e autenticità.

Nella spiga 2 non funzionava quasi il wifi. Aggiungerei un amplificatore

L'Aia is a beautiful quiet and calming place. It is a wonderful place to relax after a day visiting Siena or any of the other wonderful villages or towns which are within easy reach either by car, bus or train. L'Aia is walking distance to a good restaurant and there is a bus stop into Siena right outside the door. There is also a good supermarket 2/3 miles down the road. L'Aia has a lovely ambience. Olive trees, little shaded areas to sit and read. It also has a swimming pool where you can cool down after a busy day sightseeing.

It did not detract from our holiday but our accommodation could be improved with some updating and refurbishment of the studio

The grounds, including the pool area were lovely and there was plenty of room. The room was really big and very clean. It was easy to park our car and it was only a short drive to Siena. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only small thing was around the shared kitchen. A shared fridge was provided for the 3 rooms in our section of the property. This was really helpful but we were surprised that there was no crockery or cutlery provided in the kitchen area. We asked about this and the manager explained that the purpose of the kitchen areas wasn't for that. We weren't looking to cook anything but it would have been handy to have been able to make a sandwich.

L'Aia Country Holidays si trova a circa 1,5 Km da Siena in posizione collinare, tranquilla ed immersa nel verde. Tutto è curato: dagli appartamenti ben arredati alla piscina immersa tra gli ulivi:una vera oasi di pace. Parcheggio comodo. A pochissima distanza il ristorante da Meme che consiglio. Bellissima vacanza.

Olijfboomgaard, zwembad en complex met appartementen zijn erg mooi en sfeervol

Inchecken op een andere locatie vonden we erg onpersoonlijk; we hebben niemand op de locatir zelf gezien. Niet duidelijk wat wificode was, hebben we aan een andere gast moeten vragen. Het appartement was erg donker en ongezellig, ‘gedateerd’ ingericht. Zijtuin met tafeltje was onaantrekkelijk om te gaan zitten. Niet duidelijk hoe de airco werkte, waardoor het erg warm bleef binnen.
