Globales Mimosa

We have stayed here a number of times on our annual girls trip. The hotel is just perfect. Clean, modern rooms. The food is always excellent and there is a great range of drinks. The staff are all lovely and make you feel really welcome. The evening entertainment is also good. Location wise it really suits us, its just out of the centre but only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. We will definitely be returning, again!!!

3rd year running staying at this hotel and unfortunately seen alot of changes. Seems alot of cut backs are really going to spoil this once fantastic hotel. The atmosphere around the pool has sadly deteriated, We re-book each year down to the fantastic entertainment team and activities throughout the day which has always brought a great vibe, chilled but also alot of fun! Unfortunately the lack of activities and presence of the entertainment team really let our holiday down this year. We meet up with various couples who we've met over the years and Unfortunately we are thinking of choosing an alternative hotel in the future. Thank the lord for LUCAS who is the life and soul of the place. He brings so much to this hotel and is very passionate about his job. Rooms are pleasing, comfortable and clean. Food was at the same high standard as ever, Variety and quality is outstanding. The snack bar is also the best I've experienced, fresh and delicious throughout the day. Drinks are good and the bar staff are all very friendly, have to mention the lovely EVA and JENNY who always greeted with a smile throughout the day. A big shout out to MIGUEL from the evening bar, he always goes out of his way to make our evenings memorable with his humour and fun vibes, it was always great to see him. The Lifts are an issue, alot of waiting time but also can be very dangerous!!. The doors shut very quickly, they are an accident waiting to happen. This issue really needs addressed. Overall i absolutely love this hotel!! But PLEASE bring the FUN back to Globles Mimosa. Entertainment team needs revamped and bring back the medals and certificates.

Like many previous reviews we were disappointed to be charged 15 euros for an early check in before 1400 even though the room was ready for our all inclusive booking. I challenged this with one of the managers who told me it was a new gobales policy to charge it this year—-after speaking to the jet2 rep she told me this was not the case with the other 2 hotels. So after being charged for the tourist tax and safe and 15 euros I spent about 120 euros before I had a drink or something to eat. I have been all inclusive for over 45 years and never charged for early check in—-every hotel puts an arm band on you and invites you to use the AI facility until you room is ready. It is debatable in my opinion whether this is a four star rated hotel. I have visited three other four star hotels in Spain this year where they have provided gluten free beer however this was not provided at this hotel and I asked if I bought my own could I put some daily in the pool bar fridge-this was rejected by the management. All in all very disappointed as I have previously used this hotel group and been very happy with my holidays. A lot of guests were not happy with the long bar queue and the use of two tokens per person——another very valid complaint. On a positive note the restaurant and food was excellent but sadly my wife and I will not be returning to this hotel.

We have just come back from this hotel. We knew the hotel would be ok but it was a brilliant week and couldn't fault anything. The food was really good and was always hot. Staff were very friendly. The drinks system works with tokens and the drinks were good. Very clean rooms and clean hotel. Pool area was great, loads of sun beds. We will definitely come back next year

Good Stay – Would Return The hotel was clean and well-located, just a short walk from the shops and the beach. Overall, the staff were friendly — particularly the entertainment staff as well as bar staff — though the older male receptionist on arrival was less welcoming. The pool area was nice, but one of the attendants seemed to ignore some guests breaking the rules, which took away from the experience a bit. Food was good with a reasonable variety, and the entertainment was okay — not overly exciting, but decent. A few small downsides: No kettles in the rooms for tea/coffee lovers. Iron was to be rented at a cost of €16 for the week, plus a €10 deposit. Lifts were small, so queues formed at busy times. Bar queues could be slow, but it wasn’t a major issue. Despite a few minor inconveniences, We enjoyed the stay and would return.

We have just come home from a week's holiday at this hotel with family for my sister's wedding. 1st impressions, the hotel was lovely and clean and the pool area looked like it would be great for us. We arrived at 12.35pm to check in and our room was ready which was great. The 1st disappointing point, we had to pay €15 per room for us to get into our rooms and have our all inclusive bands because it was before 2pm which is when you can use it from. The use of the safe in your room is €38 plus €10 refundable deposit which again disappointing as we've never had to pay for a safe. We are a family of 5 so had 2 rooms, 1 room for 2 and the other for 3. Both rooms were exactly the same size but the 3 bed room was such a squeeze, again another disappointment moment. There were 4 lots of families in this hotel for the wedding including my 5 week old nephew. The lifts were an absolute nightmare and my sister struggled getting in the lift when needed as there aren't enough for the size of the hotel. Also it isn't child friendly. There is no baby changing facility on the lobby level and no children activities or children entertainment (day and night) which was really disappointing for us. We went straight to the pool after check in and were told no inflatables allowed in the pool, as you can imagine we are feeling very frustrated. We were issued 2 tokens per person on check in and told if we lose them we have to pay €1 to replace. You used the tokens for a cup and had to ensure you get your token back at the end of the day. You can only get 2 drinks at a time and being a family of 5 again very frustrating. The hotel location to the beach is great, the cleanliness of the hotel was good and the cleaning of the rooms daily. The food and variety was good, it could be a little more child friendly.

The hotel was clean, the pool was not black mouldy grout, the food was hot somedays, and somedays luke warm. The use a token system for the drinks what a palaver.

Good clean modern hotel Good excellent. Pool and all other areas very clean staff friendly and helpful .placed well for walking to beach and main part of palma nova. Only downside is the lack of lifts. Only 2 very slow lifts for a 9 floor hotel is not good. They only let 4 in or 2 if you have cases or push chairs or walking aids. Also they charge you for early check-in at 15 euros per person. If your room is ready. Then it's ready!. The room safe is also over expensive at 52 euros for days and 38 for a week!!!. 10 euros deposit is returned. Apart from these little irritants it was a good stay
