Great city and beach.

The location of Hotel Alnea is unbeatable, only 2 minutes from the Cannes Palais and the Croisette. While the rooms are small and there is no elevator, the rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is among the friendliest and nicest I've ever met.

Noémie, Cédric & Elha were all very lovely every time we spoke to them. Noémie in particular had just missed us arriving (Cédric had checked us in) and came out to the street to greet us and give us recommendations of places to visit. There was also detailed recommendations on the hotel website accessed through joining the WiFi, or by scanning a QR code at reception. We tried a few of the restaurants and visited 1 of the islands upon these recommendations. The room was perfect for us, air con very welcome in this heat, a luggage rack for my bag, the shower gel/shampoo provided in the shower smelled divine. We had a little laugh at the toilet as it's the highest up toilet we've ever seen and my feet didn't touch the ground! But this was obviously no problem. The location was absolutely perfect too. A 2 minute walk from the train station, a boulnagerie across the road, close by to lots of shops and restaurants. A 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Bliss.
