Windsor Hotel

Great location. We walked all over Nice from this location. Main walking street with many restaurants and shops is a few blocks away. Lovely chilly AC in the room which was a must in the summer heat. We did not use the pool or eat the breakfast so cannot comment on those. But purely based on location, safety, cleanliness, and amenities, we would stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous arty, creative boutique hotel. Walking distance to the centre of Nice. Really lovely neighbourhood with bars and restaurants all easy Walking distance.

Great location, great rooms, pool and dining area are quite unique. Enjoyed my stay.

We loved the art work and the mural (by Glen Baxter) on the wall of our room. The garden was glorious- and the birdsong ( & birds) a delight. Our room was lovely.. comfortable and very quiet. Overall, a lovely relaxed environment, and SO convenient. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a superb position, walking distance from the sea , tourist office and Old town. Overall we really loved it and hope to be able to afford another visit We were disappointed - and surprised - by a couple of small things (a) the lack of toiletries -no body lotion, hand cream, hair conditioner, nail file. No face flannel. This is the first time I have ever stayed in a 4 star hotel without these things. (b) No Earl Grey tea. The reception initially said it was not possible to -provide this - but then to our surprise 2 bags were provided. We did not like the full cream UHT milk. (c) The only drinks in the mini fridge were bottles of water. Given that anything there was to be paid for, there could have been a greater selection. These are small things, but would have made our stay even better - given the restriction of liquids on flights we had come without the various lotions we needed ( as above) expecting them to be provided

The shower had no door or curtain and jet blasts of water randomly shot up from holes in the bottom of the tub

Had a lovely stay at The Windsor great location and the staff were very helpful and polite.

Great Hotel and lovely outdoor gardens . Staff where very helpful too !

We really liked the unique decor of the hotel, with every room decorated differently by various artists. We enjoyed the location as it was not far from the waterfront and there was a huge assortment of restaurants, most with outdoor seating. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. There is undergound parking available several blocks away for about 20 Euros per day, which allowed multiple entry and exit during the day. Very enjoyable stay.
