Hotel de Berne was a practical and convenient base for our stay in Nice. Its biggest advantage is the location—within walking distance of Nice Ville station, making it extremely easy to explore the French Riviera and take day trips to places like Monaco, Cannes, and Èze. The hotel is also close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, which made getting around very convenient. The rooms are simple, clean, and functional, offering everything needed for a comfortable short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and check-in was smooth and efficient. If you’re looking for a centrally located, budget-friendly hotel in Nice and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city and surrounding areas, Hotel de Berne offers good value and convenience.

I arrived at the hotel very tired after my flight and was extremely disappointed by the attitude of the reception manager. He was rude and refused to let me check in and stay, even though I had made a reservation a few hours earlier. I wanted to pay in cash and was also willing to leave a cash deposit, but he told me that payment could only be made by card. I found this policy unreasonable, especially since I was prepared to cover all charges and provide a deposit. Due to his disrespectful and unprofessional attitude, I decided to leave and find another hotel. Fortunately, I found a much better place with excellent customer service. In the end, they gained a satisfied customer, and I ended up spending even more money there.

Konumu çok iyiydi, oda temizdi ancak biraz küçük, havasız ve basıktı. Yatak ve yastıklar rahattı, çalışanlar kibar ve yardımseverdi, fiyat performans olarak tekrar gitsem tercih edebileceğim bir yer.

Great location across from the main Nice train station, which provides access to all of the towns along the Côte d'Azur. Staff was exceptional and very accommodating. I had to book last minute, due to an unexpected cancellation, and this property exceeded all expectations.
