Saint Gothard Nice

Very clean room and friendly staff. Basic room but was perfect as a base for us to explore Nice and Monaco. The room had a safe and staff also allowed us to store luggage in a locked room after we checked out before our late flight home which was a god send. The hotel is really central location. It's about 5 minutes walk from the train station and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop.

They cleaned the room every day and changed the towels. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Location of this hotel was perfect if you want to explore Nice. Right next to the tram station which can take you to the main attractions. Room is tidy although tight but we didn't stay in our rooms that much anyways. Only downside are the breakfast options, not included with 10 euros per person per day and offers very limited options.

I booked a normal room but they gave me a loft room which is low ceiling and has a 1.6m high beam in the middle of the room - my head accidentally bumped onto the beam for several times during my two nights of stay. In addition, the WiFi was extremely poor - I couldn’t normally use WiFi at all.

The room size was fine, there was no tissue box in the room or washroom. No hair conditioner or lotion in the bath. The elevator was very slow. We ask the front desk to book a private tour for us since people didn’t speak English mostly and difficult to communicate over the phone; we we’re advised that our driver was a tour guide too but he was not also he could communicate in English!😡that caused a lot of confusion! overall not very memorable experience .

Clean. Convenient location. Very close to the train station, many restaurants and shopping area.

What spoilt this trip was the noise that can be heard from adjacent rooms and those above. Can’t wait to get home to sleep! Great location though.

The price is not worth you paid for this kind of the hotel

This hotel is in a good location - walking distance to the beach and old town. Also very close to Nice Ville station, meaning you can easily get to other towns. The hotel itself is fine. Pretty basic but we personally were not spending much time in the room itself. The walls are very thin and all through the night we could hear the people next door chatting. We also were told there was nowhere for us to store our luggage when we arrived earlier than check in time as the luggage area was full. The cleaners also walked into our room without knocking at 9am. The facilities are basic but if you want a good location hotel, then I would recommend. Staff at reception were nice.

Good value for money, location is perfect if you need to use the train to go to nearby towns but Rue de Paganini’s can be a bit dodgy at night. Very good coffee shops nearby and just two min walk away from the main shopping road. Room is clean and well equipped with hair dryer and air conditioning but bathroom could do with an update. Mattress not very comfortable. WiFi is very weak and didn’t work one day
