Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

Our 2nd (October 2025 + April 2026) stay at this oasis of a hotel set back on a small incline from the main street and sea front surrounded by a collective of small hotels and residential properties on tree line streets. If we could we would award 10/10 to Hotel Valentin Somini. The whole ambience of the hotel is a spotless boutique chic hotel and smells amazing everywhere. The service all the staff gave us was exceptional, they worked so hard to make our stay the best. Welcome cava/orange juice 🥂 on arrival , allocated a high deluxe room as requested. The restaurant has a buffet for breakfast and dinner and you can dine inside or out on the terrace always able to find a table. The selection of food available for both sittings cater for all tastes and is flavoursome. The chefs and waiting staff (Paco,Danny are a few names ) are happy and efficient to your needs, led by good leaders - Thank you to Miguel and Max whose greeting into the restaurant is something to look forward to. We went out for walks in the local area (Cala Fornells,Camp de mar) and used buses (from the main street) to Andratx market old town and Port for the daytime. We also took part in the Magaluf 10k/½ marathon (April 2026) and Palma 10k/½ marathon (October 25) both great races to run if that's your thing. Whilst we were staying in October 2025 in Peguera they held a Triathlon over a long weekend and it started off with a Fire and Demons parade along the main street in the evening finishing at the hub of the event with a live band - well worth taking a look at as is the actual Triathlon. We needed taxis to both races and again the hotel reception staff were more than happy to book them for us. On the few occasions we stayed for the evening entertainment in the bar area (shout-out to Oscar) it was generally solo vocal artists which you could just listen to or have a little dance. All arranged by the entertainment staff who I believe have various activities arranged for the daytime too if you wish to partake. There is an indoor pool as well as outdoor ones with sufficient sunbeds, although we made for the fabulous Peguera 🏖️ beach with shallow clear water. Once again thank you to everyone and we will definitely be returning to your fabulous hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet area of Paguera, with just a short walk downhill to beaches, shops, bars and public transport. Pavements a bit uneven so care required. Hotel reception area is very welcoming and relaxing. We felt a calmness as soon as we walked in. The staff can speak several languages and are helpful and knowledgeable. All staff friendly and take a pride in their work. Great selection of food with some variation every night, including steaks and turkey. Theme nights - Mexican, Chinese, Italian etc. Breakfast also tasty. Omelettes, pancakes, toasties etc all made to order as well as usual selection of hot and cold breakfast food. Something to suit everyone. Be aware you need to pay for water for evening meal but it's available at breakfast. Rooms are small but everything is there that's needed, including a kettle with tea/coffee provided which is always handy. Beds are very comfortable and we slept well (only issue is shelf at head of bed is too low to sit up! Watch your head!). Aircon good and ceiling fan keeps air circulating. We would have preferred a bigger balcony but they all appear to be the same. Not a lot of hanging space or area to store cases. The glass walls between loo and bed area did not bother us. We saw it in the photos on website. Pool areas and gardens are well cared for with lovely plants and flowers. We loved listening to the birds singing. Very relaxing hotel inside and outside. We were lucky with the weather for April so we walked around the area a lot and didn't use the hotel pools this time. We will do that on our next visit.

Schöne neue Einrichtung

Die Klimaanlage wurde den gesamten Aufenthalt über nicht eingeschaltet. Als Alternative wurde ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, ebenfalls ohne Klimaanlage. Außerdem hatten wir Ameisen in unserem Bett.

Lovely hotel very clean staff friendly and polite fantastic food breakfast and evening meal plenty of choices for the fussiest of eaters most comfortable beds I have slept in on holiday

A beautiful modern hotel, a comfortable deluxe room, incredibly clean and wonderful staff. My fiance and I stayed for just 4 nights for some rest and relaxation and that's exactly what we got! We just wished we could stay longer. Only 5 minute walk from the beach, bars and shops. We also had an amazing neck and shoulder massage in the hotel Spa at the end of our break. Highly recommended... if we could afford to go back in the summer months we would for sure!
