Hôtel la Résidence du Vieux Port

Not a bad hotel, they had clearly just painted the washroom door and forgot to take the tape off… walls are very thin so you hear everything beside and above you… not fun if your a light sleeper

The hotel is rundown in and out there were cracks in ceiling. No ventilation in bathroom and additional room in suit. They are not worth any money and we paid more then 200 pounds a night. Dont book it ever

The people on reception were lovely and the art and tapestries were beautiful. We had a big room with a spacious bathroom and a magnificent view of the port with bathrobes and toiletries supplied. I did feel that I would have liked a proper balcony rather than a Juliet one (thought I had booked one, my fault). The second floor was noisy at night as the port area is lively and full of fun. Probably better when you can close the windows and run the air con in the summer. Excellent location to explore the old port and the old town, loads of restaurants.

excellent location, Very good breakfast, nice staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent view BUT what a pity... all windows have a very big concrete bar mid-height the window that significantly blocks the view when seated inside
