Resort La Francesca

A bit of a disappointment that there was not much amenities open, the room was only basic with old fittings but had the most lovely views from room and very peaceful until the above neighbors arrived then very noisy most of time scraping furniture around the room,, it is very hilly and not for the faint hearted,,, but as expected this area is of the most outstanding beauty and would definitely be recommending a visit to this area again

This accommodation was comfortable. clean and had fantastic ocean views. It was in preparation for winter shut down but we just wanted a quiet and clean place to stay - this place delivered. Access to Cinque Terre / Levanto is good but you must like to walk! Pathways to Bonasolla & Levanto were beautiful. Surrounding villages are great too. Was great value & would recommend - don't expect the Ritz - just enjoy the surroundings, which are stunning. Staff were friendly too.

The setting was beautiful and accessible. But the resort was run down and we had to buy a lot of things that should of been provided which added more of an expense to our trip. Lots of broken things including toilet seat, etc

Resort is very nice located in area of Cinque terre. Walking to train station will take 25-30mins. In the resort you can find a grocery store with basic stuff... little bit pricey. Hotel is definitely not pet friendly. you can have your dog just on the leash or in the hotel room. NO access to water or beach. Rooms are basically furnished. after moving in with your stuff ants are appearing and you cannot get rid of them until end of your stay. In one week no towels has been changed or maintaned room. For 160Eur a night is not worth of the money. Plenty other hotels, resorts in surroundings for better price with some service.

Je n'ai été qu'enchanté! Dès l'arrivée, la vue sur la mer, la nature superbe, le soleil... Puis le dénivelé se fai sentir : toute la propriété est en forte pente, ce qui n'est pas rebutant pour de bons randonneurs, mais la plage et le resto tout en bas, et les chambres/logements éparpillés sur toute la propriété peuvent en décevoir certains. EN ce début Avril, peu d'occupants, donc très calme, et beau temps, personnel accueillant, Les plages sont à quelques minutes à pied, puisque la propriété se trouve à mi-chemin entre les plages de Levanto et de Bonassola.

Der Begriff "selektiv" ist darauf bezogen, dass der Aufenthalt in dem Resort für manche ein Traum und für andere dagegen ein Alptraum darstellen kann. Das liegt an den besonderen Gegebenheiten. Die Ferienwohnungen liegen an einem steilen Hang und wer sich in dieser Anlage bewegen will, muss kraxeln. Dafür wird man mit einer traumhaft schönen Aussicht belohnt. Nun zur eigentlichen Reise: Wir sind als Paar (beide um die 50) Mitte bis Ende Oktober 2915 hier gewesen um zu wandern. Die Ferienwohnung war über Expedia am günstigsten zu buchen. Die kleinste Wohnung (ca. 25m²) war für uns völlig ausreichend, sauber aber eben auch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Service gab es keinen, denn es handelt sich um Ferienwohnungen. Wer mehr erwartet, sollte ein Hotel buchen. Wir versorgen uns sowieso gerne selber und genießen die Freiheit, abends selbst zu kochen oder vielleicht nur ein Brot mit Käse und Obst zu essen. Wir hatten auch mal daran gedacht abends essen zugehen, aber es nicht getan, da der Heimweg im Dunkeln nicht wirklich schön ist. Wie bereits erwähnt, waren wir zum Wandern da. Dazu sind wir morgens von der Wohnung hinunter zum Meer gegangen. Dort befindet sich eine alte Bahntrasse, die heute asphaltiert ist und nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad genutzt werden darf. Unten angekommen, kann man entweder nach rechts nach Bonassola (15 Minuten und näherer Bahnhof) oder links nach Levanto (20 Min. besser zum Einkaufen und Bootstour machen) laufen. Uns hat es wirklich super gefallen

Das Feriendorf hat eine wunderbare Lage unser Haus hatte einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Was auch die etwas alte Einrichtung der Häuser vergessen lässt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

gute Lage , Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig , aus der Dusche kommt kaum Wasser , Matratzen sehr unbequem

Wir genossen die schöne Anlage, das entzückende Appartement und vor allem den traumhaften Ausblick von der Terrasse ins Meer. Leider hätte es sauberer sein können. Auch störte uns, dass Handtücher erst nach 7 Tagen gewechselt werden. Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Service, ob in der Rezeption oder Restaurant oder Bar sehr zufrieden. Auf unsere Anliegen wurde immer sehr höflich reagiert. Allein wegen der Lage des Resorts würden wir sofort wieder dort Urlaub machen.

The location was remote, but beautiful and quiet. There is a nice walkway along the coast into Levanto, and it is flat and easy once you get down the hill—but hills are the point of Cinque Terre. The services on the hotel grounds are in good condition, but are somewhat limited especially as to when they're open. There really is no beach, although there is access to the sea, and it is very pretty. The beach at Levanto is only a short (20 min?) walk and it is extensive. The restaurant at the bottom of the hill has a limited menu, but is pleasant. Again, we went into Levanto and found many restaurant options. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea in the evening was fantastic. Almost all of the house have a terrace available. This peaceful oasis was a nice change from the hustle/bustle of the typical Italian cities. The access to the ferry and the Cinque Terre is great. You either need your own car to get there, or take a taxi from the train station (about 15-20 Euros in June 2015).
