"Not bad for a night"

6.0

We got a pretty good deal of 30€ per night and it was more than suitable for night or two. The mattresses were the worst part, everything else was clean and more than suitable given the location and price. The breakfast was also included which was nice.

"Simple apartment rooms, pleasant stay in Granada"

8.0

Our friends who live in Cordoba had stayed here on one of their trips to Granada. The room we had was like a small apartment. It had a kitchen, clothes washer, and a sofa. It was a very pleasant place to stay. The location is not too far from the train station, so you can walk. It is about 10 minutes to walk to the cathedral and the main location to pick up buses to the Alhambra. The walls of buildings around the hotel are covered with graffiti. It would make you think it is a rough neighborhood. We never felt unsafe in this neighborhood. For food and drinks you will need to walk a couple of blocks (or use the kitchen). There are plenty of restaurants/bars over by their other hotel. Most of the people at the reception area we talked to were very friendly and helpful. A few things you need to know. Check in is at the Los Girasoles Hotel. This is about 5 blocks away. We walked past it on the way from the train station and had to retrace our steps. There is a switch on the wall to open the lobby door from the inside. It will buzz you out.

"Really pleasant"

8.0

My only complaint, would be with the staff understanding when we book a "double" room, it means 2 people. I booked an APARTMENT, but because I indicated "double" they at first put me in a room no bigger than a large closet. I took out the printout, showing the actual apartment..... (with the kitchen area, small living area, with couch, desk....and the seperate bedroom) and went back to the hotel (where you pick the keys up....and by the way.....it is a 2 minute wlk from hotel to apt) and showed the receptionist, that clearly I was put in the WRONG room. Once she saw this, she immediately gave me the Apartment. Now I was happy. She took care of it right away. It even had a washing machine! What a perk that was. I did have to ask the maid to start the washer, as I tried and tried to get it started, but just could not get it to start. When I returned later that day, the load was washed. I would definately book this again. Just make Sure you put in comments you want the Apartment.

"You get what you pay for!"

6.0

Good size room with a scruffy kitchenette that was non functional. Aircon worked well but furniture was battered and unloved but everything was clean. Good shower and good peaceful sleep. Wifi is a nightmare!. The receptionist tried hard to make it work but we had to go to Los Girasoles to do our research and forward booking. Given its central location and the price this hotel is good value for money. If only they could get the Wifi functioning

"AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

2.0

Located in Granada down town is a must, but, that's all! All the clerks or were unaware of what conditions are being offered trough the internet, like Booking, or unaware of conditions within rooms, like damaged and cleanliness furniture and beds, well, room overall cleanliness! More, how a kitchenette room doesn't have plates, cutlery and cookware? The Booking.com photos doesn't show the truth! There is an absent quality for what your eyes buy trough the internet and what you check as soon U arrive at the Hotel! LIARS! We booked 2 rooms, so 2 separate bills but they decide by themselves to charge, one day before our departure, all Hotel expenses in one card only.

"Must avoid at all!!!!!!"

2.0

Location is good since it's close to the center and in walking distance from many monuments!! But that's all folks! After that is the nightmare.... From the rooms you can hear everything from outside but also from inside (other rooms). Cleaning is not done properly and the furniture is in very bad shape. Although I was not expecting to make use of the kitchen it was rubbish.... not working and really dirty. Don't count to take your closes out from your suitcases. You do not have a single drawer, not even 1, to put closes - wardrobes are just for adornment - empty space. At the reception they don't care so much about you. Always in Facebook and don't look at you when for example you say - Good Morning. To finalize, let me inform you that this Hotel is really difficult to find, and to park the car is almost impossible, not to mention to park it. You have to spend around 20€ per day to put the car in a private parking space.

"Average"

6.0

Location is relatively far away from the Cathedral area (central area with all the restaurants and shops), about a 20 mins walk to there. Room is big, with one bedroom and a small living room, bathroom is quite big too. However amenities are generally old and are not very clean. Staffs are generally friendly and helpful. With the low price, I think it's generally good value.

"Great for our needs"

6.0

We stayed 2 nights and the location could not have been better. Right in the middle of the old city center and everything within an easy walking distance. Hotel temperature was very cold. Rooms and the lobby were very cold. The amenities were fine for our limited stay and the breakfast was okay. If you are driving to this hotel you must have a GPS or you will never find it.

"Cheap but.."

6.0

First things first - Los Girasoles II and Los Girasoles Apartments are in the same building. They are selling them as different properties which adds to the confusion. The photographs are actually misleading because its only the only th lower floors that have been renovated. A considerable part of the property is apartments or rooms which date back to the 80's. The front desk was helpful and gave us choices to pick the room but they were all equally dark, stuffy and had really dated furnishings. We did pick one apartment and stayed there one night. Not sure if its an added perk if you get an apartment instead of a room that you originally booked. Its a cheap place and well located and was okay for us as we were there for only 1 night. If it was a longer stay - we would have definitely moved.
