Freundliches Personal an der Reception. An der Bar ging es eher hektisch zu und her. Das Frühstück haben wir nur einmal gebucht, war teuer mit 17 Euro pro Person. Der Poolbereich war jedoch schön und angenehm. Das Hotel ist direkt am Bahngleis, was etwas die Aussicht ruiniert hat. Die Wände in den Zimmern sind sehr dünn und der Balkon eher klein im Standard Room. Auch sehr teure Liegen am Strand (15 Euro). Die Zimmer waren jedoch sauber und es war allgemein eine nette Erfahrung. Die Umgebung bietet jedoch nicht viel ausser Restaurants und Touristenshops.

Perfect hotel, right near the beach. It’s quiet and clean. Hotel breakfast had a lot of choice and same for dinner €22. The only down side is the lack of sunbeds but plenty of chairs to sit on instead! Would definitely recommend to others! We can’t wait to come back again!

Bra läge i Calella Nära till allt. Väldigt litet poolområde. Bra frukost. Enkel underhållning. Sångerska eller DJ. Små och funktionella rum. Havsutsikt från balkongen. Balkongen var väldigt liten. Trevlig personal på hotellet. Vi kommer bo här igen om vi åker till Calella igen

Thank you so much to Luna on reception who is a complete life saver. I damaged my back and she helped me in so many ways - picking me up, calling the doctor, getting me ice, checking up on me many times in my room, calling an ambulance, helping me to get home and keeping an eye on my 16 year old son while I was in hospital. I don’t know what I would have done without her kindness and sensible advice on how to get treatment. Luna is a true superstar ⭐️ The other staff all helped by offering to drive me to my transfer, warming up my heat pack etc. A great hotel that goes above and beyond in service.

Pay attention guys! This is the first time that something like this happend to me. Very bad experience. Basically I paid for a sea view room. During the check in they said that the room I paid for was not available. And Mrs Amira (big liar) at the reception told me to trust her that hey would me pay back money. I spent one night there and than I asked for refounding but they didn't accept. I leave the hotel because I was really disgusted about the experience and they stole 450 euros from my credit card. Just a lot of excuses to not pay me back. I hope this review will help other tourists to not fall in my same mistake! If I have to go into details: room was very poor and dirty. The view is on train station (you hear the train passing all the time) and from hotel website it seems that the beach is really near the hotel but in truth you have to walk more than 10 minutes because of train station you have to do a large turn around. Absolutely not serious hotel at all. Liars!

When i arrived the private car park was fill which lead to my son having to park on the beach 20 minutes walk from the hotel...also when i got to my toom there was a double bed indtead of 2 singles as per booking and advertised on expedpedia...i was traveling with my 28 year old son who really didnt want to share a bed with his mum also the jetted tub has hairs in it and the balcony was very dirty on the floor and the chairs...the information on expedpedia for this superior room was incorrect and no single bed was is available..i had to accept an upgrade to a larger room with a bigger bed which had a clean balcony and jetted tub but was still not ideal for myself and my son ..slept well and breakfast was very good with a good choice of hot and cold buffet..staff wete great and couldnt do enough to help . The pool was clean but i didnt use it as had the jetted tub which was great ...will definitely stay agsin but would book 3 rooms next time

Hotel molt ben situat,al costat de la platja ,del carrer pricipal de Calella ( carrer de l'església) i a 5' caminant de l'oci nocturn. L'hotel molt tranquil per descansar i relaxar-te en una piscina-jacuzzi fantàstica. Les habitacions mot còmodes en tots els sentits i amb gust. La meva conclusió és un hotel molt agradable. I amb un personal atent en tot moments.

We had two rooms, and in one of the rooms, the sink started leaking. We complained, and they changed our room. The new room had a smaller bed, and since we were with a small child, it was very cramped, and my wife couldn't sleep in the other room. In the second room, there was a terrible sewage smell, but we were afraid to say anything because we might be moved to an even worse room. By the way, the fridge in the room they moved us to was not working properly, so some of the food for the child spoiled. We were told that they couldn't change us to another room because that room would be marked as dirty in their system and couldn't be given to anyone else, even though we hadn't even entered it. Our room just had two single beds pushed together. In general, we had to move all our things, and the whole trip turned into a nightmare because no one got any sleep, and everyone was upset.

This was our second stay at Hotel Volga, and we came back due to our last incredible stay!! Location is an easy short walk to the beach, and a very short walk from the main strip in town, that is packed with shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and well appointed, and the cleaning staff is very thorough. Would highly recommend the breakfast buffet, it is full of options and the coffee available is wonderful!! We also went for dinner, which also offers a buffet and again, has so many options to choose from, including lots of fruits, veggies and salads for those that don’t eat meat. The coffee drinks available for purchase at the bar all day was also so welcome and convenient!! The hotel is quiet and calm, and one night there was also some entertainment in the bar; Flamenco dancers performed, what a treat!! Highly recommend this property!!

Property was nice and conveniently located next to the rail station which made traveling back and forth to the city convenient. But it was also an eyesore to have the dirty graffiti lined railroad blocking the view of the beach. Also the shuttle service did not leave us in front of the hotel we were forced to walk half a mile to the hotel which was inconvenient to us. We also had to walk to a meeting point it would have been nice for the shuttle to leave us directly in front of the hotel. We got lost and had to ask for directions. The shuttle drivers were a little rude and unhelpful. The staff at the hotel were excellent though.
