Hotel Villa Augustus

Graziosissimo albergo, centralissimo, a 200 mtr. dalla banchina dell'aliscafo. Dalla piacevole aria vintage e un po' retrò, piacevolmente arredato negli spazi comuni e con una notevole storia alle spalle. Ottimi servizi, personale,colazione.

Nice vintage atmosphere in hotel, helpful staff, nice breakfast. Slightly quirky.

This is a very nice hotel, it is just unfortunate that some rooms, including the one we used, are right next to a very busy road. It was a huge surprise that this was the noisiest place we stayed in an 18 day tour of Italy; one might have expected Napoli or Palermo to be noisy (they weren't), but an Aeolian island .....! Otherwise, everything was very good - helpful staff, very good breakfast, very pleasant atmosphere.

Although the room was a bit on the small side, this hotel was our favorite out of the 7 hotels we stayed at in Sicily. The ambiance is wonderful. Location is perfect, near the ferry but also close to shopping. Breakfast is traditional. Common areas are large and comfortable. You cannot find a better hotel for this price.

Wonderful place with friendly staff and an amazing location! Cozy little cafe near the lobby with wifi. Would absolutely recommend!

Super easy to get to and still a very peaceful quiet place to stay. We had a window facing the garden area up across from the Terrazza so it was a lovely room.

This hotel did not have the correct check in information upon arrival, they were hostile about trying to resolve the problem, and there were confrontations that were completely unnecessary in front of a full dining on two separate days. A total inability to understand each other even through we speak Spanish, French and English; we even provided all the necessary documentation via email which staff could not or would not access. In the end there was resolution but only after we (the guests) experienced complete frustration.

Nice and clean room. People at front desk were friendly. Location was good.

It was resonably priced and close to the port. The guy at the front desk, whom i think is the owner, was very friendly even though i didn't speak itlaiano and he didnt speak english.
