Hotel De Gramont

It was very close to attractions.

Needs a little updating.

Ligging centraal in de stad, fietsberging in kantoortje, goed ontbijt, waar voor je geld... een goede keuze.

Ontbijt was OK, maar vrij sober.

OK hotel in the outskirts of central Pau, located at a very busy square and street. Our room was spacious (suite), but we did certainly NOT have any suite feeling, it was just two connected rooms one being a tiny sleeping room with a narrow double bed (160 cm), windows were small and in floor level (!). Windows are poorly soundproofed, so you are disturbed by traffic noise most of the night. It is very hard to describe a feeling, and you more feel than sense that the hotel is a bit shabby and outdated, as the hotel on the surface appears clean. The breakfast was OK (France is certainly not known for sumptuous breakfasts), but here was a little bit of the most essential - except English breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful but at the same time a distant and not-smiling.

El hotel está muy bien situado, es muy cómodo, la habitación y el baño amplios, sin ruidos. El personal muy atento y el desayuno buffet correcto

Lo único que no me gustó fué bajar a las 9 a desayunar y que no se reponga las bandejas del embutido que ya se habian comido los anteriores
