Hôtel et Résidence La Réserve

Très belle situation de l’hôtel avec une vue mer magnifique et proche de la plage. Un service irréprochable et chambre confortable. Un petit bémol : l’hôtel mériterait un petit rafraîchissement des parties communes

Un bel établissement dans un cadre superbe, des massifs de fleurs magnifiques et bien entretenus, une ambiance familiale un personnel diligent et sympathique, pas toujours très confirmé professionnellement au restaurant mais voulant toujours bien faire - on leur pardonne donc aisément les méconnaissances et les erreurs ("je ne connais pas le cépage, je vais demander..." - c'est un vin du pays), une note particulière pour le chef - qualité gastronomique et excellent rapport qualité - prix. Quelques détails à revoir en chambre (pas de lait corporel, une 1/2 bouteille d'eau minérale au frigo à l'arrivée, au delà plus rien, ce n'est pas grand chose mais le renouvellement quotidien devrait être systématique pour cette catégorie d'établissement).

Notre séjour à l'hôtel La Résidence a été très agréable. C'est un endroit paisible, très bien entretenu. Le jardin, la piscine et la vue sur la mer font que l'on s'y sent très bien. N'oublions pas le restaurant où nous nous sommes régalés.

Beautiful location ; impeccably clean, friendly staff, delicious food!

Amazing pool. Great location on cliff top, easy walk into town for access to restaurants, etc. yet quiet. Wonderful value for the quality of the property. We had a 2 person studio which came with a well equipped kitchen. We booked initially for 5 nights and liked it so much we extended an additional night. Also very well placed for trips in the area. We hiked to Hendaye (about 4 hrs) and took the train back, day out in Biarritz (we preferred St Jean) , spent the day in the beach, hiked in Espelette.. just a great trip. Would happily repeat.

Exquisitely, unforgettably beautiful grounds & location. Wonderful littoral footpath into town of St Jean de Luz. Main areas for improvement: service — especially upon leaving. No staff person whose job it was to see that we got down the spiral staircase safely with our suitcases (we’re seniors). 2nd area: no grab bars in tub which was very deep & hard to get in& out of.

Clean and very comfortable with plenty of room for my family of 5. Beautiful grounds and view of the ocean.

Great location and lovely views. Just a short walk into St Jean de Luz.

What a beautiful spot! Gorgeous views and wonderful location. So great to be able to leave the car and walk down to town and back along a stunning coastal pathway. We didn’t have a long stay. and being with young children didn’t take advantage of the gorgeous patio and dining options, eating in the town both nights. The excellent kitchenette in our studio made vacation catering with kids easy.
