Hôtel du Nord

L'emplacement était parfait par rapport au Festival d'animation, hyper central, très pratique. L'hôtel est viellot mais les chambres ont été rénovées récemment et sont jolies, petit déjeuner simple mais tout à fait convenable. Wifi fonctionnel et sans souci.

J'ai eu un souci notoire à la chambre 23 car un dispositif lié à l'air conditionné à l'extérieur de la chambre émet un bruit de compression/ronronnement pendant deux secondes de façon régulière toutes les minutes. Très embêtant pour dormir. Je l'ai signalé directement mais cela n'a paa été réglé pendant mon court séjour toutefois le personnel était apparemment sur le point de le régler. C'était le gros point noir de l'hôtel. La literie est un peu raide, matelas un peu dur aussi.

Nice room. Very close to the old town and the bars and restaurants.

Annecy seems to be undergoing extensive roadworks and there are complicated road closures and one way systems to negotiate. Google Maps couldn't seem to figure a way to get us to the street where the hotel actually was and instead directed us to a busy corner of a road near the station which was at least 500m from the hotel. There was actually no way we could pull up and stop there as it was a busy road so we had to drive on and blindly hope to find somewhere to stop that was not too far away. The hotel was absolutely fine once we managed to walk there with our luggage but if you are booking here do some proper route research and don't rely on google maps.

Location and the staff

Room 8 had toilet and bathroom at opposite sides of the bedroom and the toilet was extremely small. There was no view no hairdryer and no drink making facilities.
