Amazing experience, great staff and breakfast, perfect location and can walk everywhere!

Our family of four travelled to Praiano this summer and had a lovely stay at Open Gate. The hotel manager Pasquale delivered exceptional service, helping with car arrangements, bus schedules, dining reservations and more. The food in the hotel was delicious and authentic, and the views were wonderful! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal propert! Stay here instead of Positano or Amalfi(visit these towns for 2 hours each, instead). The room was incredibly clean with a private terrace. You won’t be disappointed. Breakfast is exceptional and the dinner at the restaurant on site was above all expectations. Be sure to try the seafood special!! Stefania(hope I spelled her name correctly) helped us with the bus and ferry schedules. Good news, the bus stop is on the street right in front of the hotel. We rented a car for the trip but I would advise against it. You won’t need to drive once you are there with the bus and ferry options. So, bravo to Open Gate and stop looking for any other place on the Amalfi Coast and stay here.

This is an absolute gem on the Amalfi coast! The restaurant downstairs had an amazing view and homemade delicious food. The beach was a quick 15 minute walk. The staff was incredibly kind and personable, they even sent a doctor to our room since my friend was sick. They treat you like family here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I meet!

One of the most beautiful hotels my partner and I have stayed in. The view from our room was just as beautiful as the pictures. The family who run the hotel are kind and helpful. The bed rooms clean and comfortable; with excellent room services. The location is perfect if you enjoy a quiet spot, several busses just a short walk and small shops. We also dined at the hotel restaurant several times which was enjoyable and at a reasonable cost for the area. Breakfast was nice tho our only feed back would be more fresh foods; local fruits, juices, homemade bread etc… A 10min walk to one of the nicest beaches on the coast with chair rental at €20 a day. Overall a beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend to friends or family.

Great location, great food, excellent customer swrvice

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Parking was convenient and easy. Glad we chose to stay in Praiano for the Amalfi Coast part of our trip!

We had an amazing stay at Open Gate for three nights. The hotel is beautiful but the best part is the family and their care for their customers. They are all such delightful people and helped us book transfers, bus excursions and provided valuable information about the area. We hope to return one day. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The view from the balcony was incredible

This hotel was everything and more I could ask, from the attendants to the cleanness of the room. This was the best affordable opción in the coast. When you arrive the gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful, the room was perfect and very clean and let me tell you about the FOOD of this place, it was AMAZINGGG, very fresh and home made also a great price . If you’re thinking about choosing this place do yourself a favor. Breakfast, WiFi, parking and on the main road without climbing stairs. For me this was a five stars hotel.
