Agriturismo Poggiacolle

It has velly well organized outdoor spaace with amazing views in all directions including san geminiano. Nicely placed pool. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very nice.

Bathroom was comfortable but small, you have to take a car to get to san geminiano

What a fabulous place to stay! Poggiacolle is absolutely beautiful, you can see San Gimignano from the bedroom windows or from the pool and breakfast room but the views of the surrounding area are just as lovely and everything you could need is readily available. But it’s more than views and facilities, it’s also the people that make a place and the people at Poggiacolle are really great and so welcoming. Daniella is so helpful and Stefano is outstanding, he is knowledgeable both about the area and his farm and will answer every question you throw at him (which were many as we were watching him bringing in the seasons grapes), while Margarita and her family, who are always there, keep everything running smoothly in the background. There are three generations of her family (her, her mum and her grand parents) all helping out to make your stay perfect in every aspect. We had a wonderful week using the farm as a base to see much of Tuscany and would happily return. 10/10 would recommend.

The views are outstanding and location was perfect to get to the city of San Gimignano. We were with family & friends and there were many areas to gather outside to enjoy the view. We appreciated the wine upon our arrival. Really enjoyed the view of the City from our room and that you had a washing machine on the premises.

Villa and rooms are somewhat outdated. Wish we had an indoor sitting area and a kitchen that was a little larger. Shower very slippery but the maid did bring us a slip resistant mat. Bathroom very small. We came later in the season so the pool was very cold but beautiful setting.

The staff were wonderful and the view was breath taking.

It's a lot of driving if you have a longer stay and want to see new things each day. But the countryside as you drive is beautiful.

We had a very nice 2-day stay with the most amazing view of San Gimignano and the surrounding country. The place is very authentic in terms of what you would expect as a tourist in Tuscany. Clean, quiet, nice staff and very good breakfast.

We stayed for two nights after three nights in busy Siena, so really enjoyed the countryside and views over to San Gimignano. Stefano lived up to all of the glowing reports about him. What a magical place.

The place is really nice; Stefano, who runs the place gives a wonderful example of Italian hospitality. We showed up in the middle of the night, with a kid he did not expect. He still welcomed us warmly, and somehow figured out how to fit an extra bed. The rooms are spotless and well equipped; the pool superb. And I did not even mention the view! Our place also had a small but very well equipped kitchen.

Особенно понравился трапезный зал на втором этаже главного здания, в который выходили двери из нашей комнаты. Там есть все необходимое, чтобы готовить обед или ужин самостоятельно. Мы открыли бутылочку сухого красного вина и перекусили нарезкой сыров, мяса и оливками. Незабываемый опыт! Из минусов: - завтраки могли бы быть разнообразнее... добавить хотя бы омлет или жареные яйца. Зато капучино очень вкусный! - хотелось бы какой-то активности на самом отеле, на случай плохой погоды, например, устроить курсы итальянской кухни, думаю, многие с удовольствием поучились бы готовить из местных продуктов.
