Borgo Il Poggiaccio

We had 2 nights here, would have preferred a longer stay as so much to see in the surrounding area. The Borgo was stunning, & has been renovated to a high standard. The rooms were large, very comfortable. The restaurant below was a bonus, great atmosphere. The pool was great to cool off in, & added to the great setting of the hotel. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Breakfast and dinner were to a high standard. Great place to base yourself when travelling around Tuscany. My son loved the soccer goals and swimming pool.

A little gem hidden away. Lovely pool area but not the cleanest of pools & cracked steps into pool. Wonderful restaurant & staff. Had a lovely big apartment with full kitchen if you wanted to cook. Excellent breakfast. Would stay again if in the area

I loved this place, made so welcome especially by Alfredo at reception and Franco in the restaurant. Apartment was spacious and well equipped, the kids enjoyed being up in the attic room. Delicious breakfasts and coffee each morning in the restaurant and a relaxed environment to have a drink/meal in the evening. Appreciated that the tennis court was available for the kids to play tennis/basketball/football at any time. There was an adjoining apartment to ours (Granario) which was only occupied on our last night and noisy. Also next to the road and as no ceiling fan/AC needed window open, traffic noise was ok but occasionally woken by cars speeding by. Its not often that I would consider going back somewhere to stay as so many different places to visit in the world, but I would definitely go back to Borgo Il Poggiaccio.

Old style Great experience But a bit difficult to find

Un accueil excellent, une chambre splendide et très grande, un restaurant divinement bon et un personnel des plus chaleureux. Si vous êtes dans le coin, ne passer pas à côté de cette adresse car vous rateriez vraiment quelque chose. En tous cas nous c'est certain, on y retournera et très vite je l'espère.

hotel was near the street so you can hear the cars, and no curtains in the windows so the sun came on your face terrible

Colazione buona e con un ricco buffet. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile per ogni esigenza. L'unica nota negativa l'assenza di aria condizionata o ventilatore nelle camere,e non sempre dormire con le finestre aperte è possibile. Un'altra cosa positiva la piscina e il risorante.
