Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff

No evening dining option. Could use the pool til 11am

Na chegada me informaram que eu havia ganhado um upgrade. O quarto era grande e confortável. Com uma vista maravilhosa. Cafe da manhã com muita variedade, espetacular. Parabéns pelo atendimento do Rahal e da Anna fizeram a diferença, foram muito gentis e atenciosos.

A lista de indicação dos restaurantes. Nos indicaram um a 1’ do hotel, “Lu Pisantinu” do outro lado da rua… caríssimo e a cozinha deixou a desejar.

The view from the pool area is exceptional, and the hotel is overall very beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the variety of options at the breakfast.

Car park is extremely tight and you are not guaranteed parking. Breakfast had a nice variety but the coffee quality wasn’t consistent, one day was delicious the next day terrible. Also had to pay extra if you want something like a fresh OJ or omelette which you would expect to be included in the price since we are already paying a lot per night. The shower door didn’t close properly which caused the bathroom to flood, and the drains were all clogged up in the shower and sink. The power points were inconsistent so our adapter only worked in the bathroom. Luckily reception was able to provide us with an adapter to work in the bedroom. The aircon wasn’t easy to figure out, it would have been nice for someone to show this to us upon check in. Also the cleaners left our balcony doors unlocked and open one day when we were out all day, making it easy for any guest to walk in our room and help themselves to our belongings. When reported, it was met with “thanks we will pass this feedback on to the cleaners”. No additional pillow options if you don’t like flat pillows, and we had to ask for a beach bag rather than it just being left in the room from the start of our stay. The pool ran out of towels early on and didn’t replenish, and also no poolside menu or service - if you want to order something you need to go to the bar or restaurant there (and the prices are just outrageous so we just bought our own drinks and snacks from the supermarket). All of these things are small however for a hotel of this price and star rating I expected exceptional service with high attention to detail and unfortunately this place fell short. We were on our honeymoon/babymoon and this wasn’t even acknowledged by the staff even though I mentioned it at the time of booking. Small additional touches go a long way so hopefully this feedback is taken onboard.
